  1. I have never used a stove top. an oven, yes. And a bra... BBQ! So I am assuming my OH only stays with me for my personality. ????
  2. Glad del Toro won. Still think Shapely Water was fantastic but looking forward to 3 Billboards when it is on demand. Pity Sally Hawkins didn't win though. Her silent performance I thought was incredible. But seems McDormand was a shew-in
  3. Warne, Warner, Warning... It's like toss, tosser, tossiest
  4. Watched 'Game Night' last night. Really silly, but also really, really funny. Filming it like 'The Game' and turning it into a farce was a great idea
  5. I believe Mr Stransky had the Gorge section re-rated as double black, if memory serves...
  6. The Shape of Water - thought it was brilliant but it's not for everyone. An adult fairy tale, I guess you'd call it. A lot like Pan's Labyrinth but then it is del Toro, too.
  7. The advice here is really sound Landy. As soon as you can, as hard as it is, realise that she seems to have left you a long time ago just without telling you, the sooner you will be able to deal with the financial situation in a calm, unemotional way. And that unfortunately means treating her as an adult with adult responsibilities and obligations.
  8. Icy rain, squire. Happens often over there as I understand... Probably explains the voting.
  9. It depends on the date. Feb 14 and I suspect you may be out the door.
  10. Is CryptoKittie the same as the great 16th century Twolip scandal in Holland?
  11. After 8hrs and 20mins for my first 100 Miler including about 40mins of standing about cramping, I was comfortably numb going 'Hello, is there anybody out there'. Be prepared...
  12. I want to be in awe of the majesty of the universe... But all I can see is a skid pan with hoons doing donuts
  13. Definitely helped me in the 'taking for granted' category. We had a long, very serious chat about some issues she is dealing with and I was definitely influenced in my replies.
  14. Slovakian is a love language, right, Gen? ????????
  15. Well, the Last Jedi is just awesome. If a movie seems great to my adult mind I am impressed and happy. If it makes me feel 12 again I am eternally grateful.
  16. First ever reason to be proud of a Participation Award?
  17. Any of those. The only actual requirement is a UCI Accredited coach, like Sven Lauer.
  18. Dear Agony Aunt, I used a Power Band as a contraceptive. My sperm is now far more potent apparently. I thought if it was tight enough it would stop all probability of impreg... impregn... babies. And I fell off during the process. #nobalance I am a disappointed client. Yours, Thor
  19. You appear to have confused the need for 'altitude' training with 'attitude' Or to put it mildly, the Savages bow to no man, and Patch is definitely no man. Hehe
  20. If they channel Aleister Crowley they may find some... 'In the absence of willpower the most complete collection of virtues and talents is wholly worthless.'
  21. Gemors, you mean
  22. 'World's biggest adventure race' in Augusta, WA... Lovely place. For my mate, Mamil, the portaloos are perfect here. Plenty, well-stocked and everyone can aim. Emigrate, dude!!
  23. 'Copenhagen' is Latin for 'having to cope', right? With the mountain of Danish pastry, the flat roads and being the happiest nation on earth repeatedly...
  24. That poor man probably just wants a minute or two to watch the pottery and sewing channel without constant interruptions for the Tour de Sagan. And now with you off to watch Chris's acting quality closely he can finally relax.
