Whats nice about Endomondo is that if the live tracking is on, you can follow your friends on the web. You can also save routes, so e.g. I want to go and ride in Hermanus, I go on the web, go check out the saved routes, download it to the phone and go ride it!

Endomondo works for all I think! Just turn off the live tracking to avoid excessive data cost

I doubt it will cause interference. Did you buy it 2nd hand? The battery in the Speed sensor might be finished, or the magnet is to far from the sensor. Maybe check how strong the magnet is.
