  1. The amount of times a MrD branded oke with a bike delivered an Uber Eats order is quite funny. These okes deliver for every possible service they can.
  2. If you bought the bike new then the shop normally offers the first service for free. This is so that all these little niggles can be sorted out. Not abnormal for indexing to go out slightly in the first 250km. Chat to the shop and if not an option just unscrew that little barrel adjuster while riding until the shifting smooths out.
  3. No contact between the sole of the shoe and the platform. Sadly an expensive lesson I learned. The only benefit I found was how easy it is to find the pedal when things get gnarly and you have to clip back in.
  4. Play the banks against each other for better interest rates rather. PS. Have you ever worked on commission?
  5. Pressure washers aren't the issue. Aiming them at hubs, bb's, bearings, headset etc is the problem.
  6. Once because I thought it was time. It wasn't Had my Tech 3 V4s now for about 10 years I think. Zero issues and the pads last forever.
  7. You realise how much and how quickly vegetation grows during the rainy seasons? Perfectly normal for some sections to get overgrown. I'm at Red Barn every weekend and the maintenance is definitely kept up. I agree the trail marking is tricky on ONE section of the trail where getting lost is possible. Only one section though.
  8. The bit in bold tells me he is looking for the new UDH ones.
  9. And cycling in general is very very interesting 😛
  10. Enduro shorts : R1800 MRP board shorts : R400 It is your choice at the end of the day.
  11. Cheap option. Get an exhaust shop to change the end of the pipe to a downward facing one.
  12. Can't imagine anything worse that having to align bars before every ride.
  13. New post coming. "How can I improve the handling of a hardtail on technical trails"
  14. Again.... trying to scratch and itch that doesn't exist. "I ride gravel" "I ride technical" Make up your mind and seriously.... the askhole label is starting to apply more and more.
  15. Keep the Bianchi Sounds like you’re trying to scratch an itch that doesn’t exist
  16. Still looking for the perfect grip to replace my Pamela Handersons. Sadly Burgtec and OneUp wasn’t it. Maybe these are the answer.
  17. Cairnbrogie is close to Plett. Some good sections on the MTO side.
  18. Have you worked out what it costs to own a business and make enough profit to ensure you keep the lights on in the lean months? Wheel building and truing is a highly skilled job.
