  1. If you’re on a large hit me up and come ride my Orbea. We can go for a 10km loop at Big Red Barn and you can get a proper feel for it.
  2. Can't say I agree here. The OIZ is more than capable on technical trails. Unless you're hitting DH lines and enduro trails.
  3. I have the OIZ H30 and it is a fantastic bike. Great climber and behaves very well on the downs. The extra bit of cash spent on the H20 is worth it for the dropper post and slightly better components.
  4. Sweet! I'm in the top 10 of sheet talkers and sheet starters again this year 😛 😛 😛 Congrats @ChrisF on being the top posters. Even with that very broken "enter" key on your keyboad.
  5. I ride like you. Jumps, bumps, hop, rocks and whatever the trail throws at me. I’m 120kg fully loaded when I ride and my carbon frame holds up perfectly. I’ve cracked 3 alu frames in the past. Make sure to check out the bike you buy properly regardless of frame material.
  6. Avoid the Crank Brothers. Pins are too short and they offer very little grip. My money is on the OneUp composite. I have both the alu and composite versions and they are excellent. Keep in mind that the right shoe is as important as the pedal.
  7. After replacing the sunrace 12spd cassette i’ve also had ZERO issues. GX on NX cassette is perfect My Deore 12spd is also flawless. I don’t see the need to avoid 12spd.
  8. I feel for these guys. Influencers get a lot of flack. There is so much more to it than just doing a dance on TIk Tok.
  9. Do you have non-boost, boost, or super-boost spacing on the rear wheel?
  10. The Chinese are famous for under declaring goods by including an invoice for a fraction of what you paid. Just hope that one of those never get flagged for value verification by customs. The penalties are SAVAGE!
  11. Sounds a lot like “the ‘Lab” Send an email to Andrew Mclean if it is. DM for his email.
  12. All bikes will have limitations. You can't add spacers because the steerer tube of the fork will be too short. Changing the stem will be the only option if it already has all the spacers underneath it.
  13. Still under warranty? If so escalate to the owner of the shop and insist on a replacement off of another bike if stock is such an issue. Also be sure to call the shop out on social media. Seems to be the only way these days to fix stubborn service issues. BS that they can't get it right.
  14. "Urban, Commuting, Touring, Mountain" I wouldn't take that on a trail based on what the OP asked.
  15. Shorter and higher stem will do the job. More back sweep will be less effective and a narrower bar is definitely not the best idea. Neck and shoulder pain suggests the bike is too low in front and maybe not too long.
  16. What is the point of this thread? To belittle a seller publicly?
  17. You just described me from the top of my POC helmet to the soles of my carbon shoes.
  18. OneUp components EDC tool. Multitool that lives inside your steerer tube.
  19. The stuff dreams are made of. The dreams of every bike shop owner ready to replace a R10k drivetrain.
