    A pair of cut off skinny jeans...???? Unfortunately Mtb shorts have become incredibly expensive. The new 2021 range is even crazier where shorts alone (without an inner) is R3k already for the nice stuff.

    Yeah, I used to spend an obscene amount of time riding, probably about +- 15 - 20 hours a week. I would drive out to Jonkers three times a week. My wife loved it as it gave her allot of time to do her own thing as well. However when our little one arrived (she’s now 3.5) it changed allot. I honestly don’t want to spend that much time away from them. Changed to doing hikes and watersport where we can all do it together. I believe it is all seasons in our life, and will probably start riding allot again once she hits the age where dad isn’t cool enough to to hang with or she’s old enough to come riding with. For now, once a week is enough for me.

    Yeah, it’s also pretty much about getting used to riding different types of bikes and getting comfortable on each one. If I compare my 29er 100mm Chisel without a dropper post to my 170mm Enduro I’m just as fast or just a little bit slower down most of trails in Tokai doing most of the jumps and gaps on the hardtail aswell. However I’m not even going to think of taking the Chisel down The Plumber in Jonkershoek. I love riding fast on the XC bike, it reminds me of MTB’ing in the 80’s and 90’s. What must be said though is geometry, suspension and 29ers have made riding these soooo much easier.

    Okay. So I'm in the market to get a Diverge for a good deal. This ad comes up tonight and I get lekker excited as it's pretty much what I want to pay. Then I read this whole darn thread. Argggh. Come on.     Love my hardtail. Riding a Chisel with upgraded traverse wheelset and a Renthal cockpit. It's by far the most fun I've had riding bikes for a very long time. Modern geo and suspension is amazing comparing just how fast you can ride this bike compared to bikes from the 90's.

    Looks like officially Broken road is a "both directions" trail (if that is what you are referring to), where Donkey Trail is downhill specific only. Have a look at Trailforks. Maybe confirm with Deon and co.

    Ok. So I have some good news with regards to CRC orders. Seems that they have now shifted away from Skynet to Aramex. I ordered last week Thursday and they delivered today. Used regular tracked delivery. Super smooth, received a mail from Aramex with customs clearance info, next day received another email with clearance payment info and two days later the package arrived. Also didn't have a stupid high clearing fee as with Skynet. Word.

    Fantastic trails, and a very cool race. WhereEnduro started in the WC. This is a lite pop-up version though.
