So here goes... It's that time of year and I'm wanting to build up a ss shredder for winter/ss champs. Going to move components across from an old trek fuelx that I broke one of the chain stays on. Looking for a 26" hartail frame. Steel is real, ti is fly and alu is value. If anybody has anything they willing to part with please let me know. On a student budget. Shot

Ryan, how did the X tackle that bit in your 3rd pic? Rocky and sandy, that bit is even tough on the mtb.

Its going to be a chilled run so I'm sue you'll be fine. the scenery makes up for the sore legs anyways!

Has anyone run up Sani before? I've ridden up already but heading back in December for another holiday and want to run it this time. What I'd like to know is should I take the trail shoes or just use my normal distance trainers? Will just be running up and getting in the car for the return if that makes a difference.

Just got back from GK. Big hole in the fence just before marker 10D. Thats as you come out of the singletrack and ride next to Nelson Mandela drive. Reported it at the office but nobody seemed too stressed. Stay safe out there guys.

Helping out at the SimpleSAM stand for the weekend. Seriously fun show. Do yourself a favour and make the trip through. Ride a fat bike and do a few laps on the pumptrack. Can juuust see the rainbow as the day was ending.

Weekdays. Usually ride Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday arriving at GK at 6;30am leaving from Hatfield. But I'm a student so I'm easy. Exam time = more free time to ride

Does any watch really track swimming properly? Other than the Garmin swim maybe.

Don't you feel safe at Groenies? Can buy a year pass for R770 which I think is reasonable and a decent size loop to ride too. Never felt threatened there.

Agree with all of this I think there needs to be less 'blame game' and more cooperation between riders and SASCOC/CSA to get a better selection system. James was ranting on twitter about selection criteria not being implemented. This is not the issue, the issue is poor selection criteria to start with.

Phil is 2nd in the commonwealth, Rourke 6th and James 11. Also, I agree that U23 riders are at a disadvantage as they get less points but if you want to race Elites at Commonwealth then you must race elites during the year. Nothing in terms of criteria was 'hidden' so I don't believe riders have the right to moan.
