Lekker. The thing about a shortish commute, you always have the option of increasing the length by as much as you want. Or you have a nice detour on the way home in the afternoon. Enjoy!

I moved from GAbsa to Nedbank and I am really glad I moved. In all respects Absa is pathetic - service, banking charges, supposed benefits. Nedbank does have its problems, but its nothing compared to Absa.

Unfortunately I only heard about the ride yesterday and that was too short notice to attend. I have already line up a friend to go to the next one on the 30th of September. Have you guys got any pics of the ride?

Cycled on an old Raleigh when I was 6. Never really got into the sport. Really started cycling when I was 27. My wife and I looked at what sport we could do together and settled on cycling. 3 Years later I am loving and my wife hardly rides. We bought exactly the same bikes and I figured when my parts wear out I'll just take the parts off her bike

Unfortunately team Britain's race strategy failed and so Cavendish never got the opportunity to take on the race. Well done to the breakaway and to Vinokourov for riding a perfect race. Unless you are able to outsprint Cavendish I wouldn't go around criticizing him. Cavendish would never have had the lead out team he had with HTC if he wasn't the fastest. You build a team around your strongest rider.

I'd definitely be interested in joining the ride, was there last year. I do think we need to increase the length of the ride, 8km felt a bit shy, but I understand people want to bring the little ones along so maybe 15-20km?

Lady luck was not on my side this time round. Will have to try again next year. I must say the names on that list does look very French. Seems like the South Africans were out of luck.

It just goes to show again that Test matches are not won or lost on day 1. Which is why it is Test cricket. This guy might need a reminder of the old saying, "Don't count your chicken's before they have hatched."

What an incredible player. I remember when he entered the SA team, he still had his double back swing and I thought he would go nowhere. How well he has adjusted and grown into a fantastic player. I really hope our bowlers can roll out the remaining 6 wickets quickets. Especially after English said they lacked penetration after day 1. How beautifully the tables have turned.
