  1. This stuff SUCKS big time!!!! In my experience, here by report back... Tried, an NOT satisfied with results. I had 2x leaking incidents in the last 2 weeks. For both I had to stop, and rotate the wheel to get the leak "submerged" in the latex sealant. No immediate seal. Once, I RACED back home to try and NOT get stranded with a flat. No seal (see pics attached), and a BIATCH to clean off. For me, back to the old tried and trusted, Joe's. That is me over and out on Ryder Latex sealant, and YES I did shake it well and use immediately and YES I did use the correct dose (actually a little more for initial seal), and NO I did not use a CO2 bomb. The wheel was floor pump inflated.
  2. Start from a point... 1. Check front wheel quick release (and that the wheel is actually tightened) 2. Check headset bearing grease (thin layer between frame and bearing) 3. Stem to fork (thin grease layer) 4. Stem to handlebar (thin grease layer) 5. Derailleur surface and frame (F&R thin grease layer) 6. Chainring bolts (lube / locktite and torqued) 7. BB thread with anti seize compound, and torqued 8. Remove your pedals, thread with anti seize compound, and torqued 9. Check Rear wheel quick release (and that the wheel is actually tightened) 10. Remove your seatpost, and CLEAN well (post and frame). Apply a THIN layer of grease or assembly compound and assemble to instructions. 11. Remove your saddle from the seatpost rails, and CLEAN well (rails and clamp). Apply a THIN layer of grease or assembly compound and assemble to instructions. Sounds simple, but check for brake cables as well as gear cables rubbing to your frame, can be a bAtch to find, but worthwhile spending the time to look. REMEMBER, torque everything. Good luck. PS, if you have suspension parts, check and torque EVEY bolt
  3. Lockout as firm as possible Rebound to taste, mine is 7clicks in Pressure, 10-15psi less in the lower chamber for a more "plush" ride. I read something over the weekend, that says the following: Run 75% of your body weight (in pounds) of pressure in the top chamber, and 15psi less in the lower chamber. Rebound to taste. Here they mention to ignore "sag" and just run according to the mentioned settings. Hope this helps
  4. This poor dude is not going to live long
  5. some 30W hydraulic fluid...
  6. Just have to mention, if you do ride or use RR, it HAS to be the Snakeskin version
  7. I rode RR's for close to 2 years, and ONLY had to plug one hole, that was my own fault. As far as the Ryder latex sealant, just used a bottle, and will be able to report in a month or so. I am a Joe's fan, as in my experience the Stan's made a latex alien ball within the first 10 days of riding. Happy hoopin
  8. Trouble I see coming in TdF2013... SKY= Wiggens + Froome + Uran. All three podium potentials. Big trouble I see in SKY later this year

Hi Eldron Are you doing a Rohloff internal geared hub thinngy-majiggy? Do yo have any info or experience on the reliability and mainenance of these things? Happy hoopin
  13. 100% agreed. If ALL road users (cars, trucks, bikes, cyclists pedestrians etc), shows some courtesy and common decensy to the next user, we will all be in a happy place. There is no respect amongst any road users, not even between motorists, so unfortunately the least protected guys will always get the short end of the stick!!! Aggression is an emotion that feeds off a deeper unresolved issue, and we all need to takea deeper look into ourselves and manage yourself like the examples we should be for the younger generation. Be the change you want to see in the world. Happy hoopin

He thinks the following: Morning group ride = RacePace Afternoon group ride = RacePace Night ride = RacePace Social ride = RacePace TITS (time in the saddle) = RacePace LSD (long slow distance) = RacePace Yes, we all know that one RACIST bastard, and need to punch him in the face next time he arrives at some cycle related gathering. This is me, over and out RE race... PS, I cycle JUST for fun whoopwhoop More beers less gears
