  1. Thanks for the info. See you there
  2. #DominionZA. To spare you the trouble. There are Mtb rides from Finish Line every Saturday morning. One group leaves at 05:00 (might change soon due to Autumn sneaking up on us). They ride between 60-80km and average around 23-25km/h. The next group leaves at 06:00 and ride between 50-65km at an average of 19-22km/h. Hope this helps a bit.
  3. Just a question. So my bike has to be locked inside a already locked garage?
  4. That must be a big road Hennie VR. Buffelsdrift is across the road from Roodeplaat dam isn't it?
  5. Very excited to do my first 3Mountains. Looking forward to doing a race I have never done before in a town I have never been before. (Got accommodation at Zuikerkop Game Lodge)
  6. I did the S2C with a Garmin 510. Worked perfectly for me. It is discontinued but still worth the buy if you can get it.
  7. Hi. Every Saturday a mtb ride from Finish Line Cycles in Glen Marais. Starts at 0600. Between 50-75km. Average between 18-20km/h.
  8. Wow, what a statement. Hope he doesn't wake up one day soon and realises he is tired of his face.
  9. Understood. Correct format then. Negatives: 1. Access at Camper Van area not controlled. 2. Spectators not allowed access to finish area on Day 2 of the Trail. 3. Ladies showers after Day 2 not up to standard. Positives: 1. Great trails, especially Day 2 (and 1 and 3) 2. Bike wash at the end of Day 1.
  10. Also had a big issue with the Camper Vans this year. My sister and brother-in-law went with us for support. Paid the R1000 and got a bright notice to leave on the dash for identification purposes. This we were told is to gain access to the parking. Not once did anyone from the race check this at the entrances to the parking and there were plenty of vehicles using the same space with NO boards. At the finish of Day 2 I looked forward to seeing my family at the finish after a very long and hard day, but they were nowhere to be seen. I walked all the way to the Camper area where they told me that the security guard at the gate refused them entry to the finish area. Not cool. I will gladly pay the fee again, but only if everyone has to pay, the access is strictly controlled and our supporters get access to the start/finish areas as was promised before the race.
  11. Serious. There is my first transfer.
  12. Hi. New to this. Where does one register on the Hub?
  13. Have 2 Lady's Hoodies (one Small, one Medium) to swop for 2 Men's Small Hoodies.
  14. Decided to do the 55km on Sunday to get time in the saddle. Any reviews on this specific route will be appreciated.
  15. Where can I find the photo's taken at prize giving?
  16. "I swear it wasn't me!!!" This is Tori by the way.
