  1. The one and only. Rode out to the tower and back. 112km from tar road back to the tar road. Will be doing it again in two weeks time.
  2. Awesome 112km MTB ride last Saturday with mates.
  3. If you got decent hubs to use, order some Chinese carbon rims and have your old hubs rebuilt with DT Revolution spokes. Rims should be in the 360g range, they are available.
  4. 15sp? 3x5? 2x7.5? 1x15?

  6. Very sexy
  7. How? Its a multi day stage race for guys with stupid money that are willing to pay for bragging rights. I'd rather put that money down on my bond.
  8. My opinion, 650b / 27.5" (or whatever) is way to close to a 26'er to even bother. The other night I was riding behind a bike and had to look and look and look and look and eventually had to ask if it was a 275er. It was. If its that hard to tell, its moer close to 26er. 26er for tight rides, 29er for tight rides if you can handle it and marathons. Thanks, I'll take my cheque now.
  9. Mictor Vatfield
  10. I have loved that brand and that sprayjob since I first saw it on a P-21 sometime around 1996.
  11. Its all Chinese.
  12. When I was 15 I was riding a 16kg Nishiki with 6 gears on the back with a 46 big ring and a 42 small ring. And no aluminum in sight.
  13. Awesome bike. Very nice parts, Juicy Ultimates, XO, etc.
  14. About 375-380g. The Race and Non-Race rims weigh just about the same. The Race is just a bit fatter to allow more air volume in the tyre.
  15. I rate any non GXP, external BB should work fine.

  17. I always find it crazy how guys use XO, XX and XTR on like DH bikes. The **** costs so much money and one rock and its moertoe. Yeah, they are sponsored so guess that covers it. No-one except sponsored riders should be using those three deraileurs. Unless you work for goverment.
  18. Was just about to ask how you managed to stuff that jump up. Landing fail.
  19. I don't know if you can put a BB30 crankset into a bike that's made for GXP. The other way around you can do, ja. Myabe look at http://wheelsmfg.com/. They do all kinds of converters. If they don't have something for that, it can't be done.

  21. For sure! You have to come around so that we can discuss our race strategy for Jansenville! I don't want to be caught napping when you attack!
  22. That's what I have in there now, just a home made one. I think this is an option... http://wheelsmfg.com/bb-30-shims-shimano.html http://www.bikeradar.com/gallery/article/easy-fit-bb30-adapters-from-wheels-manufacturing-and-enduro--24534/1
  23. But that adaper is *** expensive. That just puts me right back up to the plain BB30 crankset price bracket.
