  1. Its not like the exhaust of your vw.....
  2. Luxottica is their retail shop. Oakley SA brings in, prada, ray bans etc and then sells them through their retail shops. Might be otherway around? I know sunglass hut, luxottica, oakley, prada, ray-bans are all conected
  3. Iff ANYBODY sees those as real oakleys they are Not worth being an oakley owner!
  4. 2.5mm of pad left is still a lot?
  5. They do work fine untill they stop working IMO. there is a reason they give you spare parts with
  6. Thats guy i walk my ass into there blackriver park head office and DEMAND SERVICE. I have gotten free lenses and frames from them. BUT make a scene and they are quick to help. funny i have never had any lens problems although i go through a lot of earsocks
  7. Where do you buy from??
  8. Its the '15 model with 1x specific stays. yes croeser's built it with electric suspension, xx1 and Valor wheels, and that downer stem with flopped handlebar DOES look so racy. Put that bike next to Kulhavy's epic with saddle NOSE down and pic your dream bike... Thought so, VIPA all the way. Granted most of us will never get our bikes to look so Pro it is merely the fact that we feel that way when riding them no matter what we look like on race photo's. BOTH is my dream bike and both can be bought from slx to xx1. but what bike wil give you a million dollar ride with slx? remember only a frame makes a momsen a momsen and an epic an epic. the rest is just parts. in my mind il go with the vipa due to more everyday standards. buying an epic is like buying a supercar, nice to drive but be prepared to pay for all those in house standards Just my 2c
  9. Just look at that. LOOK AT THAT
  10. SCAM or he is strapped for cash. the frame alone is worth more
  11. Soooo elegant this http://www.viralthread.com/coffee-invention/
  12. Stick to brand on brand
  13. iff problem persists tie a sting to it almost like a teabag. it will help when doing a trailside wee
  14. who says your wheel is dished BUT a great fix to a problem that piss me off. the harder it is during a ride the more i see that is not straight of creek and then its a mind game from there
  15. I have hope hubs laced to spank vomax23 rims. Man oh man those babies are nice!!!!
  16. Keep working on the half distances then and build still, confidence, endurance and stamina. then move on to the full distances. the hex 35km is in my mind the only race with a well balanced ruite. and you can compare with faster guys that did the 55km seeing they do the whole 35 aswell. GREAT for comparing
  17. when you feel that you "could have gone a lot faster" on the half distance. Make no mistake i rode willowcreek and kukked af, rode tru-cape and kukked af eventually dnf and rode an amazinf race today. its not always "easy" even iff you migrated to full distance. thats just my take on it.
  18. After my previous comments about route condition i am here to swallow my words. PERFECT route, PERFECT weather. Yes the route was in dire need of attention and Nienke and Stefan really did a wonderful job of getting in in top shape. I can not comment on danger boards as i know the route by heart. I do apologize if you decided to stay away due to my comment and i'm truly sorry if you missed out. I was perhaps a bit to fast to lash out about it but it is sad to have seen a course you call "home" in such a previous state! Hope you all join us for next year!! Regards Cois
  19. Its hundred m and with the sun from the front it iluminates the rock walls. the smell of bat piss is way worse!
  20. rode it 1x with a 36t but it chews away at the legs
  21. Route rode this AM and organizers DID do a good job of marking, grooming, cutting on the parts i felt needed atention ie 2m drop in road where water washed it away and so on. now for the weather gods do bless us with perfect weather!!!!!!! Iff you enter the 55 you can always just turn on the 35. the 55 does all of the 35 ruite it just makes an extra loop. as said before from matroosberg stasie its all :downhill" but caution to the wind as 1 small mistake can result in a lekker storie for the kids 1 day.. Now to ask what the 1x guys are putting on for the hex? 34t???
  22. little singletrack downhill and a long section next to a railway and a steep drop to the left(breathtaking) but not to much. mostly jeep track so the legs will to the talking on the first 30km and the skills will be put to the test on the last 25
