  1. Yes, this is the best solution or any other repellent tabard etc, for most flying insects.
  2. Saw a snake flying across the ground one day at wynberg park like this. Man that thing was moving, not sure what it was but it was a fair distance away.
  3. I used to do the bike cover thing at home and parked under cover at work. Eventually I settled with a tarp stretched over into a lean to. The cover removed the paint on all the contact areas, but this was years ago. Not sure what todays covers are like. Other option is a wendy at home if you have the space for it.

  7. I am certain he has the attitude of that no one will find him and what can they do
  8. I cant believe that everyone riding in the group with him and not one has come forward. They would rather risk their reputation to protect a delinquent!!! Also there must be someway to find him on strava. Some segment he has a good time in maybe!!
  9. An 80-year-old man was having his annual checkup when the doctor asked how he was feeling. "I've never been better!" he boasted. "I've got an 18-year-old bride who's pregnant and having my child! What do you think about that?" The doctor considered this for a moment, then said, "Let me tell you a story. I knew a guy who was an avid hunter. He never missed a season. But one day he went out in a bit of a hurry and accidentally grabbed his umbrella instead of his gun." The doctor continued, "So he was in the woods and suddenly a grizzly bear appeared in front of him! He raised up his umbrella, pointed it at the bear, and squeezed the handle. And do you know what happened?" the doctor queried. Dumbfounded, the old man replied, "No, what?" The doctor continued, "The bear dropped dead in front of him." "That's impossible!" exclaimed the old man. "Someone else must have shot the bear." "That's kind of what I'm getting at," replied the doctor.
  10. We should make this go viral on twitter
  11. Not cycling related but 2 weeks ago I advertise my golf clubs, brand new bag and extras for R6500. Last night someone comes thru after agreeing on R5000. He then proceeds to point out every nick on the club heads. Now these clubs are in a great condition well looked after cleaned and polished after every use, and I hit the ball clean off the deck with least possible amount of grass being sliced off. So you nicks are barely there. He then further wants to pay another R800 less. LOL, I just laughed, said no and goodbye. The guy took nearly an hour to get to me, so all his petrol wasted.
  12. What if the guy only uses garmin or something else?
  13. I hired a non motorised one for 2 holes last year, but the petrol one works a treat for deep and multiple holes. The trench digging machine is also a great tool to get the job done quickly. Days of digging with a spade..... no thanks.
  14. I hope you guys catch this guy soon!
  15. I have a coffee location, but unfortunately not open on a sunday. We open on saturdays though in wickboom lane simons town. Our coffee is freshly roasted as the roaster is next door to us.
  16. You guys should google what what the puffy poison does to your soft tissue and muscle. Rather extremely alarming. I think there is a thread on 4x4 community with pics with the different effects of poison from diff snakes.

  21. Odd on the choice of courier for local as well. Well Done!!
  22. I drove behind a car on sunday with one of those on. The sock certainly puffs up quite a bit. As far as how much drag it has, I wouldnt know. However it would be interesting to know by how much the fuel consumption is changed. Nevermind, I see it above probably posted at the same time
