  1. Also Jet Black who manufacture the trainer - Shame Wahoo feeling threatened
  2. Kyalami Estate has a group that ride in that area. Look up "Kyalami Cycle Club" in Strava or Marc Francois he is very active with group rides
  3. If you shave your crack the mud doesn't tend to stick as much But I suppose waxers nd shavers should be banned from the mountain as well
  4. Shouldn't the mechanic be the one telling you if the chain should be lengthened - change the mechanic i say
  5. Can't you replace the belt with an aftermarket belt, i'm sure a bearing / V belt shop can match the size.
  6. Way too tight - Use this calculator - worked for me many times http://www.machinehead-software.co.uk/bike/chain_length/chainlengthcalc.html
  7. Le Mans - We take customers on an tour of the track - One of our factories is in Le Mans. In 2019 we actually took a customer group to the 24hr - Awesome experience I tell you - They have a 24hr bicycle race each year - Our company enters a team and i'm allocated a spot but never seem to be able to make it - Maybe one day !
  8. Ooooooo I love these kind of problem bikes Slipping on the chainring under load with a new chain fitted ? - Worn chainrings - incorrect chain length - B screw setting - correct size chain for what ever speed it is. If its a cable issue - Change both the outer and inner cable - one does not simply change the outer. Not changing onto the big ring - limit screw adjustment on FD - FD alignment if its a clamp on - Check the cage is not bent - cable tension Rear gears not changing like butter - RD hanger (You say is replaced) - limit screws adjustment - B screw adjustment - correct chain length - RD cage could be bent - RD could be damaged - Cassette mounted properly - cable tension. Fixing these kind of issues is actually fairly simple, but like you say, finding a proper mechanic to do them for you is the challenge.
  9. This is what happens when you get a service guy making decisions based on procedure that affect customer relationships and then the Sales guy has to step in and say "Hey hold on a moment" do you realize the damage you doing on all my hard work creating these relationships. - Story of my life in the capital equipment game 😫
  10. 🤣 Lots of optional extras - ECG monitors & Drip stands as well - Fully plug & play
  11. When i was looking for a table the cheapest and most practical was one of those hospital bed tables you can get them used for a few 100 ronds - height adjustable and on wheels
  12. No problem - I leave for UK on Sunday and will be in Germany on 18th Returning on 27th so i'm sure i will get it in either of the countries Just confirm that it is definitely they 1st one in the pics i posted
  13. I would agree C40 is very collectable if in mint condition 25K to the right buyer. The Mega not very collectable 9K max if its in mint condition. Problem is people are short of cash so what we are prepared to accept is not easy to find nowadays I have a CT1 - C40HP BStay & C40 World Championship but will only let them go if the right offer comes along
  14. I've always re-used 11 & 12 spd quicklinks - never had an issue - can't imagine spending up to 80 ronds on a SRAM 12 spd link every time i remove the chain to clean it. The only time i change it is with a new chain or it gets to a point where i don't feel a proper click when installing. The "Not to be re-used" statement is marketing BS
  15. These are the ones i see so far on Bike24 - I would say your could be the 1st one as it does not have the indentations above or below the SRAM name like on the 2nd & 3rd pic
  16. Do you have the part number - I'm off to UK and Germany next week maybe i can get it online and bring it back for you - will be back by 27th
  17. SRAM make replacement lever kits for Guide brakes
  18. I went with your suggestion - Rekon Race was awesome both on the tar at SBR training rides and TB wet mud & rough stuff - Probably had the pressure a bit too high on TB but was very happy - thanx for your suggestion.
  19. That says Vitality Sports Gear so you get 25% off the first 2000 ronds spend = 500 ronds discount
  20. This is my point - I can fix them - In fact i was thinking of making a small business out of it - servicing & repairing all brands of IDT's - the problem is you need to get the OEM spares especially the electronic components, which clearly you cant unless there are aftermarket parts from China - which is not the ideal route to go

Maybe they want to be payed to be sweeper vehicles - I'm sitting here visualizing a mini buss with 20 riders and 20 bikes trundling up Bergplaas 🤣
  23. Hey Jacques - Maybe and idea to explain & help us Hubbers understand what the Wahoo exchange or trade in policy is on out of warranty units that have failed - I have a hard time understanding that a Electro/mechanical piece of equipment of this value cannot be repaired under a service exchange program, or why there is no parts that i can buy to try fix a unit. I mean what happens to the failed units you trade in - Are they repaired and sold back into the market as used ? Or are they simply scrapped ? I get that Ikhambi is an importer / distributor business which is very different from being a LBS / repair workshop - But - If this be the case. surely there is a business opportunity, for authorized service ctrs on Wahoo. I'm not knocking Ikhambi - Your service is on point and cannot be faulted - I'm just trying to understand the mythology behind the after sales service.

I rode AXS as well - It really proved to me that this tech works as intended - never had an ounce of problems through the mud and submerged under the water on 1 or 2 of the water crossings and i changed gears while trying to ride the deepest one i think it was after CP3 - Just before CP5 I got a message pop up on my Garmin "RD battery critically low" I shifted to see the green light was now angrily flashing red - took me 2 or 3 minutes to change out the spare. Total gear changes on the app was 966 - so it was probably at 960 when the battery went flat. Your teammate needs to invest in a spare battery and carry it in his tool bag.
