  9. I will still fly Kulula because they are independent and trying to run a business against great odds. The major one being having to compete with SAA (Mango),that uses taxpayers money to keep competitors out of the game. Edit : Gidon Novick a founder of Kulula has resigned.

  12. . a) Number collections consigned to a distant memory. One race number, one timing chip, one national seeding database and one online entry portal. In this day and age even I could sort this one out. B) Safe, affordable events (and I don’t care who organizes them). CHOWDER FOR PRESIDENT! No. collection has more to do with the place WHERE it is collected than the convenience of cyclists. Comments on Facebbok suggest that CSA finances are actually in order, but there was a posting a few days ago that claimed that Prime Media was owed millions by the CSA. (Can't find the post)
  13. Steal frym is faain. But de gears en breaks joe muz bye.
  14. Start at the first post and you'll see that this was a guy WITH a 29'er,not on a 29'er. And he was pulling something and it wasn't the brake. How things change.Way back in primary school we competed as a team.
  15. It was a 29 er , but the wheels were 26. Edit: More than anything it's the sand that worries me.

Had nice meal at small pub very local. Food cooked under the tree. Talked with two MTBers from CT till late. Owl house worth a visit.
  21. Nieu Bethesda has: Great views Food Timekeepers Warmup and stretching before the race. Good idea. I may even buy a mountain bike and try to keep my line.
  22. So it's not the muesli or the peanut butter sandwich.
  23. This is true. Whenever my kids used to go to Mcdonalds and did not bring back any change, I felt like committing a murder.
  24. I don't have a real answer as I also have nutrition issues. But a friend of mine, good ex runner rides on coke and water. When I asked about this , he said that Alan Robb had won four comrades on Coke and water.Darren Lill SA road champ also rides on coke and water.
