  1. Have to agree with you there!!!
  2. That is utter bullsh*t!!! Take your insurance elsewhere, or is there a reason why you would like to stay with them??
  3. I had a similar problem. Sent them a letter informing them that i would no longer be using them, within minutes i had a call and the problem was sorted out......i still told them to shove their business and took all my insurance elsewhere. I do not tolerate bad service and neither should you.
  4. Sure just looking around what there is' date=' in no rush to buy, so taking some time and having a look at different frames. The Cervello R3 in white looks soooo hot to me as well, and seems to be getting some good reviews as well. http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/5457/2008r3yj4.png [/quote'] Are the Cervelo's also made in a factory in the east?
  5. My civil duty in this matter is to provide JB with some cannon fodder in the meantime... My sense is that there will be no adverse effects' date=' since 1) The curing of the material involves heat/pressure during initial manufacture and again during the painting process (definitely at temps higher than 55degs!) 2) Being non-metallic, the material should also be less prone to expansion/contraction as a result of heat fluctuations meaning the glued joints (do they even do that nowadays?) should remain intact Exposure to UV could cause fade, but I doubt the impact of time in the car is greater than doing a 4 hr ride in full sun. A completely uneducated, but hopefully logical, opinion. PS: I hope you treated her to a decent wash after neglecting her so badly... [/quote'] You have got it coming your way......big time, especially where you eluded to the glued joints
  6. I am sure JB will give you something to think about with regards to that question.
  7. A friend of mine has one of these, just a different paint job. Paid R24 000 for frame and fork. Have to say it looks flippen nice with deep section wheels and campag groupo....
  8. I think you hit the nail on the head!!! I really enjoy Johan posts, he always seems to ruffle feathers! Not a tech junkie myself, once having read what he has to say, more often than not it is all quite truthfull.
  9. We always seem quick spread the word when we receive bad service but i would like to compliment Adrian at Bicyclepower Trading for the excellent service he gave me. My CPU was faulty and has been for a while, i mailded Adrian some pics and he contacted me to tell me that he would replace it for me......no questions asked.....no " I'll will try repair it" or send it away to get checked first...........returned my faulty one with strap and within a 2 days had my new CPU with coded strap!!! Adrian, if you are reading this....... Thanks a million it is so nice to not be given the run around for a change.
  10. You are in soooooo much sh*t if the wife reads this!!!!
  11. My brother in-law is so deep in the sh*t, went to a dinner last night and told my sister he would be home at 11.30pm...........3.00am stumbles in the door.........seems The Grand was quite some fun.
  12. I use a mixture of diesel and paraffin. Was once told to do this and have had no problems thus far. Not sure if it is good or bad?
  13. Jees, this topic is going pear shape!!! Hope there are no female hubbers reading this one as you might just pick up some slack!!
  14. Does someone perhaps know Adrians e-mail address?
  15. I think the Cheetahs want to lose tonight. If they win they will meet the Bulls in the semis as 1 plays 4. I am a Lions supporter but if i was Free State i would rathet take them on before the Bulls. Free State are also resting some players...
  16. I know that Percy was a big Creatine user and met his personal trainer back in his WP days. He used to refer to James Small and Percy being cosmetic gym freeks, doing it more for image than for rugb. One must not forget that when you have a personal sponsor like EAS for the past 10 years, it is easy to get big. And if you look closely at Percy buil it is only his upper body that got bigger. Pretty easy with all the suplements and gym work he has done to be that size after 10 years of serious gym work. I am not saying that rugby players are not into the steroids but i will find it hard to believe if Percy has ever used some since playing for the Boks.
  17. You will drop weigh quickly but that is normally water loss. It is fairly easy for most to get to a goal weight but the trick is to keep it there. Know of a friend who was really overweight and has been on Dr Cohens diet for the past 2 years. It has worked wonders but i feel so sorry for her as she still has to watch what she eats at every single meal. To lose weight it has to become a way of life otherwise you will for ever balloon up and down. I love my sweets but i then don't eat cholcates, rather jelly baby's or sucking sweets. Seems to be a way to get by when i get a sweet tooth.
  18. I don't watch my diet but when i have tried to burn the last few % fat, i would just cut our carbs from my diet. In conjuction with excercise and fewer carbs, within the 1st week you will see a huge difference. Once you are down to your goal weigh/% body fat, slowly introduce carbs into your diet. Or just follow the GI for what foods to eat and not. Have tried phedra cut, more for energy levels. Did notice a difference but then again i was training hard at that stage ..... could be a combo of the two.
  19. Dude, you need to drink more beer and try a couple of boerewors rolls and "slap" chips That should sort you out nicely.
  20. Bruce is that what you are sitting on at the moment Would hate to know what Marco and Andrew w/kg is
