  1. THIS is very true
  2. Perhaps consider an ultrasonic cleaner. Especially for first time cleaning .
  3. Sorry to hear about your experience, are you able to share location? You state 2km from Kayamandi?
  4. How’s the noise Andrew?
  5. Hi I will reach out to you, looks like you are close to me, I have been using molten speed wax - but find the chain gets noisy quite early - I have therefore reduced the km's per waxing - not ideal.
  6. Nice to hear of a local product. I swear by your sealant . Where does one get your product?
  7. IF equipped with the appropriate level of knowledge to understand the data and metrics , a power meter is a valuable training tool and will change the manner in which you approach your training . Get it if you’re serious about training and want to get faster and want to understand how to do it in the most efficient manner.
  8. don't discount the comfort derived from a bit of play, I have my kickr 5 on a rocker and the experience is vastly different.
  9. Decent showing from Candice Lill again, taking 5th. Puck Pieterse with a resounding win by 20 seconds No Alan Hatherly at short track? Christopher Blevins continues his great start
  10. Cam Jones with a very late attack to pull away for the win! A great moment for the New Zealander
  11. Ai, looks like I missed a great day’s racing and drama ! Yates wrestling the Maglia Rosa from Del Toro, crazy stuff, it’s not just Del Toro, he surely has team orders ? Wow, guess he’ll learn from this, and so will UAE for that matter . I reckon the DS is in the firing line for not guiding a young rider on the cusp of a grand tour victory.
  12. Just logged in, is this the case? the race coverage has a group of about 8 and I don’t see Matt there, but i think there’s a breakaway?
  13. There are many clubs that operate that side of the world. Cyclewise, Club100 etc. might be best to cast your net there? Perhaps also specify your level of fitness , general speed you ride along with distance you’re comfortable with
  14. Just had a look, looks good. haven't played with the slope feel settings - any suggestion. Excuse the ignorance I generally don't use the platform, have it due to Premium account.
  15. This is for Training Peaks Virtual users Does anyone have a great route option on the above mentioned platform that you use for your FTP tests? I’m thinking something with a 3% or maybe a bit more gradient? The FTP test option in the app didn’t work so well, as I battled to settle on a wattage , trainer kept dropping the resistance, not sure if it’s user related🙈. I would therefore prefer a route that has some incline to assist in managing the effort with my gears .
  16. Indeed he can , a finish fitting for the Maglia Rosa
  17. Just joined no pics no specs my spidey senses are tingling
  18. Looks like this will be an option for me next year. Was always a favourite up until the change of ownership / organiser / routes.
  19. Who would have predicted that? and here we thought this Giro was uneventful going to be a great few days coming up taking today into consideration
  20. Perhaps this year’s TDF will be the one? For a podium finish that is. But probably a pipe dream
  21. I see that Roglic has abandoned! Ai.
  22. Expect people to be selling Clovis stuff very soon, happens all to often post these clearance sales,
