My wife spent the day with Mrs Straatvark, I didn't want to post anything on his behalf but that was bad luck. I take my hat off to him for even finishing on a MTB and making it past the cut off's. Anyway now he can relax and enjoy the Mountain Biking in Spain.

Here are some of our pics from the Etape will post more later when I have time to edit etc. Myself, Mrs Straatvark and Straatvark at registration. Registration village and expo, extremely hot. Start of Etape du Tour Me at the end and with official sign on truck. This is from the finish at Loudenville looking back up to the summit of Col de Peyresourde in the distance (red arrow), gives an idea of the height of the climbs and don't forget this is the last of five. Some snow still on the peaks.

IandJ are you going to be in London for the Prolog and 1stg?? Unfortunately not, my STUPID brother decided to get married on Saturday so we fly straight to Scotland then going to france on Tuesday. Very inconsiderate hey.

Hey thanks guys really nice of you all. I will miss all of you but I am taking my notebook so will keep you updated and will try and post some pics next week. Still around today and tomorrow morning.
