    I've had good comms experience with Spez SA in the past, so that's a bit surprising. Stores are a different story and can often be hit and miss particularly when they don't have a dedicated online presence. (and even when they do) Some will argue pick up a phone if it's important/urgent enough. The addition of live chat to some sites has also improved things a bit.

    It is rather ironic particularly for those spending in excess of R100k for the bike. ????‍♂️ Granted, circumstances are all different. The Lemond 0.886 of inseam worked and continues to for those on a really tight budget. That and a couple of stem swaps and you'll have the sweet spot.

    Personally I respond to all msgs irrespective of what happens going forward. Yes, "is it available" can be frustrating, but it's part of Hub activity. Likewise, if I've initiated contacted, I will also conclude eg. "thanks for the info but ..." Everybody won't deal with it the same, but that's also ok. Woosah ...

    Little difference in quality between Spez and Sidi shoes. (and while you're looking, perhaps consider upper end Shimano and Giro shoes too, and for something less common, Lake) Really comes down to which fits best.

    That is likely the response in 9/10 cases. Doesn't seem they bother too much with actual repairs ...

    Those Ftech jerseys have been on Takealot for a long time and were always advertised as "Mens". Now that there's only small sizes available they've become Unisex. ????‍♂️

    Not too sure what to make of Cyced activity. Are they just dissolving Bikemob and selling off stock or will they remain a going concern going forward.? I hope it's the latter ... pretty sure n+1 applies to bike stores too. ????

    As I have it, you could find online items in store, but not necessarily store items online. Apparently they operate "independently". As for Steven, he still tries to provide old fashioned LBS service. ????

    Pirelli Cinturato and Goodyear F1 would possibly be cheaper and worth looking at. Anything between R600 and R800. OrangeSeal sealant comes highly recommended too.

    There are a few cheaper (not cheap) options available. I initially also used a medical syringe which worked ok. The cycling specific ones however are firstly appropriately sized, and with the tube that attaches to the valve is just a lot easier and cleaner.

    He seemed to be riding well, somehow just couldn't go with the accelerations. And once Mollema went it was all over.

    It all happened so quickly and unexpectedly that I don't think the cameras got much of it. By the time they did, guys were hanging in trees.
