  1. Misty Cliffs living up to it's name this morning.
  2. Great dilemma to kickoff 2021 and stick it to 2020.!
  3. General consensus will likely be that current Fizik models fit larger than most brands, but not necessarily that your regular size will be too big, albeit that you could possibly go down .5 to a size. I know, many contradictions in above statement, but that's what buying Fizik brings. Best fit if you can.
  4. Perhaps proof that a good product doesn't need to rely on marketing.? LOL
  5. ... a bit of effort, and often a lot of luck.
  6. Brand loyalty is fickle.!
  7. I think I've made the mistake of reapplying too soon/often in the past leading to gunking. Finding the right application routine is important (for most lubes), and that may not necessarily mean as per instructions on the bottle.
  8. That's good to know. Just hope they'll be consistent.
  9. Probably didn't, but he has some spare time now that he can no longer access his trail ...
  10. As a matter of interest, how much IDT time have your bibs seen.? I find that some of my clothing items and gloves really take a beating indoors. On the other hand, I suppose it's possible that the bib you have is a lemon.
  11. Nice one.! That 7800 DA may be old but it's still regarded to be some of the finest bits from Shimano. May you have many (upright) miles with it.!
  12. A rather extreme example, but yes, I guess you never know when you my be forced to stop and may need to mask up.
  13. Pretty sure they'll have silicon grippers as that is pretty much standard on bibs currently. As for ratings, I'd take anything stated with a pinch of salt. Unfortunately fit and comfort is a very personal thing. Some people will be comfortable all day on the most basic of chamois and uncomfortable in no time on the chamois rated for all day use. Remember also that comfort is derived from a combination of setup, fitness, time in the saddle, saddle itself and quality bibs.
  14. You just can't chance riding alone anymore. Groups don't even ensure safety ... May the victim heal up quickly.
  15. They've given hope of hosting it later in the year but I wonder if that is realistic. When the event was cancelled because of wind, people asked about the feasibility of an alternative date going forward and all sorts of reasons were given for why it would not be possible. Why would it be different now.?
  16. Will probably help if it's a better, more expensive bike too...
  17. Only occasional issue I've had is stock ... stock showing online only to be informed that they are actually out of. In all instances this was suitably resolved. Otherwise a good bunch of peeps.
  18. Inevitable under the circumstances...
  19. I trust that isn't Stellenbosch. You're far enough from your bike for that pic that it would be at risk of being stolen. LOL
  20. Roadies may not greet or wave (LOL) [i do ], but we always offer assistance to anyone in need.!
  21. Many will be sad, but safe to say, few will be surprised.
  22. When I read "concrete slab", I thought Crown Cycles not imagining that the vehicle would turn out to be the same. Really hope they get hold of all involved.!
  23. +1 It's not perfect, but it seems it has more hits than misses.
  24. I saw the video footage a little later and glad they didn't get in. Still a helluva inconvenience.
  25. As received via another platform.
