    Sport needs characters, and there are few characters bigger than Sagan.Good to see him mixing it at San Remo and following up with a win today. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't rooting for Impey and Van Rensburg. Good to see 2 SA flags on screen in the top 10.

    Hearing of the weeping issues is interesting. Perhaps I just haven't noticed. What is OrangeSeal's position on "bombs".?

    The bumps in the road in the last 30km makes it really difficult for the pure sprinters. I thought Caleb Ewen was exceptional and the other favourites knew they couldn't take him to the line.

    PureMotion is having quite a revamp of their product offering. Nice to see.!

    Takealot has been selling cycling goods for a while already, seemingly mostly on behalf of existing distributors/retailers. ASG items are quite common but there are others too and sometimes there's a good deal or two.

    Glad you're ok ... pepper spray aside, I think it was more your awareness that should be highlighted. Seems most attacks happen when we are distracted and/or just not paying enough attention. And yes, as others have mentioned, perhaps consider turning around if able to. #gatvol

    No, peninsula and surrounds would be our normal routes but on Sunday we went out to Durbanville, Fisantekraal and beyond instead. Still trying to figure out why we'd trade the roads and views of the southern peninsula for that ! LOL

    Ryder is an underrated brand with a few really nice items. I have no experience with this particular pump but good to know that it works well. There are a few of these air tank pumps on the market but some are hit and miss.

    I think I've made the mistake of reapplying too soon/often in the past leading to gunking. Finding the right application routine is important (for most lubes), and that may not necessarily mean as per instructions on the bottle.

    As a matter of interest, how much IDT time have your bibs seen.? I find that some of my clothing items and gloves really take a beating indoors. On the other hand, I suppose it's possible that the bib you have is a lemon.

    Nice one.! That 7800 DA may be old but it's still regarded to be some of the finest bits from Shimano. May you have many (upright) miles with it.!

    Pretty sure they'll have silicon grippers as that is pretty much standard on bibs currently. As for ratings, I'd take anything stated with a pinch of salt. Unfortunately fit and comfort is a very personal thing. Some people will be comfortable all day on the most basic of chamois and uncomfortable in no time on the chamois rated for all day use. Remember also that comfort is derived from a combination of setup, fitness, time in the saddle, saddle itself and quality bibs.
