Sometimes the air tanks just don't deliver enough air quickly enough to seat the bead. (assuming all else is fine) There are occassions when only a compressor/service station/bomb will get the job done.

Can't comment on the Corima, but cheaper generic cork pads just don't perform particularly well.

How do the Corima pads differ from other carbon specific pads.? Couldn't you look at Swissstop or similar.?

They've been popping up on Takealot sales from time to time. Normal price around 750-800 which isn't bad, but around 550-600 occasionally. Keep an eye on their current birthday sale.
