    Both good brands/bikes. We were debating on our ride yesterday and general consensus was that best value reputable brand would be Scott or Giant.

    Possibly see it used more in touring scenarios. It doesn't seem practical other than for storage. Retrieving a water bottle on the go probably isn't recommended, and I doubt one would want to drink directly from a bottle mounted there anyway.

    Inspect the helmet VERY closely. Often it can look fine on quick inspection only to be shocked by its actual condition after a crash.

    No, peninsula and surrounds would be our normal routes but on Sunday we went out to Durbanville, Fisantekraal and beyond instead. Still trying to figure out why we'd trade the roads and views of the southern peninsula for that ! LOL

    Ok, wasn't too sure about the rim bed of the EC70. Check for any damage around the valve hole, and also check valve for damage. Sometimes it's also a case of using a different valve that matches the rim profile better.

    I assume it's a taped tubeless setup.? Good chance your tape has come loose or ripped somewhere causing the leak. Re-tape the wheel.

    Ryder is an underrated brand with a few really nice items. I have no experience with this particular pump but good to know that it works well. There are a few of these air tank pumps on the market but some are hit and miss.
