  5. Saw some seriously good looking pygas at hatfield cycles.ready to ride .The green metallic and campari colour looking frames .All sizes
  6. I have done voriberg.redstone ,babbas ,monster .If you want to do a MTB race with challenges ,but no walking ,2 laps at voriberg will do that for you .Redstone is as tecknical as monster but shorter and you do 2 laps .I do babbas on my SS and try to improve my times always .I am also avoiding the large MTN Trailseeker bottleneck events ,but Rooiberg looks like the ultra can be worthwhile
  7. Voriberg is worthwhile to do .Great MTB terrian.Redstone is similar .Both are potentialy cramping events .Nice !!There is a voriberg race this weekend on saterday.Small fields ,no bottlenecks ext.Lekker atmosphere .Expect water only at waterpoints
  8. Where can i get hold of this frame .In XL
  9. There is a tandum .It all makes sense now !.She even gives you your own porno corner with warning device
  10. MTB kindergarden .COOL!
  11. A crossmark in front is an accident waiting to happen .On loose sand and mud there is no grip unless the pressure is realy low .On my 3 different bikes i have had nobbly nick ,racing ralph, maxxis crossmark and continental protection mountain king in front .The best grip is the continental mountain king for south african conditions .Works on all terrain and you can run them with low pressures .I have had front tyre washout with crossmark but with none of the others
  12. I had the same problem .Now i always ride with a compression type vest .Much more comfortable, even in summer .Chamois cream only on long rides and put on sparingly
  13. Thanks for picking it up !
  14. Halfway up the monster the rider in front of got a stone between his rear derailer and wheel ,ripping it clean off .Unfortunatly my spare drop down wasn't,t with me
  15. Cramping ruined my sub 5h target again .5h21 today ,worst than last year and I was better prepared this time .Toughest 75km around .Respect to the SS crazies
  16. Mix in some cramping and that was lastyear,s race for me
  17. MK2 protection and XK protection got me thru > 2000km of worst terrain RSA has to offer.Weight with bike 115kg .No punctures ever ,No cuts ever .Will stick with this excellent combo for 2013 .JB2c ,CPT and all the rest
  18. New slx same as lastyear xt.Yes
  19. Cant we just try and make this a race or religion thread .It so much more stimulating. What about ,The poor black disadvantaged lady interviews the cheating white supremist
  20. Still way cheaper than my old hobby golf.Halfway house meal and balls already more than race entry, that's not even the green fees
  21. Have you tried the wtb silverado thin line .Our weight is similar and a friend that also is the same weight uses the same saddle.Tried 5other saddles last year .The correct saddle must be comfortable within the first hour of riding and the stay that way .Taking weeks or months to adapt to a saddle is Bull
  22. Sorry ,but that was the worst saddle I have ever tried
  23. Many places you can buy dirt there.Had 3 tumbles end of last year .Thats why I ride hard on the climbs and flats and the rest extra controlled
  24. If you look at the bb or crankset height it is clear that the giant will be more stable with your overall Centre of gravity being lower .Anthem geometry is proven by thousands of happy giant anthem owners ,including myself .Anthem was voted best bike by its users on Twentynine inches website 2011 and voted highly recommended in a DS test done for use in the EPIC 2012 .Maestro suspension is still regarded as one of the best systems .Merida???
  25. That can be a good deal with the transport included
