  1. I see nothing wrong with what happened. If you crash or have a mechanical then that's your problem. Don't expect people to wait for you, because you had a little bad luck. This is MTB'ing after all, not some primary school rugby game where everyone's a winner...
  2. Thats why I have cancelled my DSTV and download anything I want to watch. Next step -> Apple TV

  8. I quite enjoyed going through there and having the support of the locals. It was properly organised which made it nice. It was a 40km sprint for me which was enjoyable after a year of doing the Ultras and Marathons. I rode the corrugated road from the previous years 56km on Saturday in the 103km and I am really glad they removed it from the half marathons route. It does not really add anything to the race.
  9. See you guys there. Just entered the Marathon
  10. So will the Marathon not merge with the other routes towards the end with all the bridges and single track?
  11. Tim is this the same route as last year, with all the congestion towards the end?
  12. I enjoyed this route more than last years. Last year was just riding out on a corrugated district road, turning around and coming back on the same route. Well done to the organisers. Very well organised event and Ill definitely be back in 2014
  13. I got 43 on my bryton. It was insanely hot. I was just surviving from water point to water point. Great route and lots if water points. Well done to the organisers. See you guys for the 40km tomorrow

  15. What an awesome event! We had a real tough race. Day 1 my heart rate went crazy and day 2&3 my partner cramped up real bad! We struggled home on all three days... Will definitely be back in 2014!!!
  16. While we are on the topic of GPS devices, which would you guys recommend for the self navigated events like Dusi2C and Joburg2C 2014? Can you get the navigation on the 510 or do you need to go for the 800/810 to get that functionality?
