Mine was that his wife wanted to start cycling, I dropped the price quite a bit thinking I was helping someone out .... only to find the bike for sale a few days later for 3000 more than I originally wanted! It was already a damn good deal for a very very well specced 26" bike 🤬

In many years of riding tubeless tires I've never considered plugs 'temporary', on the rare occasion they don't hold pressure or fall out I've made another plan. Otherwise they stay in for the life of the tire! Just me?

Is not great but cars are still using it ... even today a small Daihatsu of some type went over.

To my mind a gravel bike much like a single speed is a mindset thing, you either get it or you don't ... Clearly its not a mountain bike and I know many say you can do just about anything with it but I prefer to use it for mostly proper gravel and decent jeep track ... doesn't mean that I don't get the occasional bad patch but it's generally not that long and bearable. Yes it can be tough on the arms and shoulders and stuff but the feeling of covering a lot of ground over gravel surfaces can't be beat, to me anyway. There are of course those infidels that use some sort of suspension fork and stuff but what can I say 😜 As an aside I'm over 60 and not far off 90kg's and I still love my gravel bike and ride them quite a bit "THE BICYCLE HAS A SOUL. IF YOU LOVE IT, IT WILL GIVE YOU EMOTIONS THAT YOU WILL NEVER FORGET."

Not sure I'd be keen on a games evening invite from these folks 🤔 Beaten the weather for a while now .... it'll have its revenge I'm sure!
