We just took the worst off (Lil' Ben done most of it ) and like you said Thug popped the captains on and they went up no problem! All set for the zoo farm night race tomorrow! On another matter, the back wheel was always 'dished' bout a centimeter or so to the left and bothered me somewhat ........... got some advice from my resident (future son-in-law) LBS owner/bike mechanic all round guru (Fanks Just)! He says just go round starting from the valve tighten spoke half a turn on the side you want to move it toward, loosen next one half a turn. OK so did that twice times and woohoo after some 2 years it is now pretty much in the middle!

Just wondering since just about every ubber is going to be at the bike park opening ...... maybe use that opportunity el Kapitan?

OK Spidy now you have control results ..... if you now pass on those wheels with the tubbies to myself I can check if I have the same results. This will confirm whether the problem lies with the rider or the equipment

Just wondering for those who have replaced tyres on a tjoopless conversion ala Stans/Joes/Ghetto because they are worn out - how the hell do you get the rim strip clean if the tyres have been on there for some time - frikkin hell Theres lots of 'goop' bits that have got pretty hard as well as a 'ridge' where it has sealed to the tyre on the inside. Now from experience I know that it is best to get it pretty sorted else it just makes the sealing the new tyre that much harder but taking it off by 'hand/fingernail' is time consuming and leads to a loss of skin as well as possible humour failure I got me some new Captain controls and have to take those Crossmarks that have been on there forever off (well there aint no tread left!)

When I saw myself in the mirror and decided I need to my wife decided that I was to fat I went down to my LBS and bought a 2006 Reno. It was not exactly what I needed or wanted. Initially I wanted to lose weight and yes it suited me for a month or two. I would suggest that you go to your LBS and chat to them about your aspirations and let them assist in your choice that would be suited to the longer term. Bit late for assistance with choice it seems mate ....

Ok so not wanting to pass judgement on the team or it's members (and no I have never ridden for a team) I just wonder ....... Surely if someone joins the team knowing the environment everyone describes that they will be expected to ride for a specific rider (and it seems that is for sure no secret) are they not accepting of this fact? Or is it a case that they are willing to grab at any opportunity to get a contract to ride for a team due to the fact that these do not often become available.........
