Another one of my favourite 'stoksiel alleen' rides ... The mind tends to wonder after a few hours though, so .... I enjoy Di2, it's efficiency and it is a cool gadget BUT I get the feeling it has no 'soul'

After all my bitter complaints about the Highveld countryside in winter it is starting to change for the better!

Had a repair done at a similar spot by a welder mate, he first made an insert that sort of slots the 2 pieces together on the inside then welded that in. Secondly made that small 'brace' if that's the right word on the inside near the wheel. So far 500k's and no sign of any issues ... interesting he told me to paint it with that 'chrome' rattle can color as it would be easy to see a crack starting Not pretty but hey I can ride it so who cares [emoji41]

I ride because I love bikes, any bike! Road, mountain, singlespeed, fixed gear, rigid, mechanical, electronic, one by, two by, track, TT you name it! Am also a 'tinkerer', try different things as often as I can, some work some don't. My wife tells people I ride because 'that's just what he does'...

Head cleared, lots of things are sorted out. Can enjoy my riding again and play with stuff! #TelemetryFTW
