Terrible news, wishing Lynette a speedy recovery.
Thanks for all the possible reasons i might be experiencing this . I have done all the preliminary checks , saddle , leg height , handle bar grips , do some gym on my Trojan and other gloves ( thicker padding ) . Im am going to increase the handle height slightly and gauge it from there . The sensation is mainly in my thumb and next two fingers ( makes gearshifts difficult ) . Are you at a bike shop or private .
Hi, I operate independently as a licensed ErgoFiT technician, but my fitment studio is situated in Ridgeway Cycles in Greenstone.
As mentioned above, check the angle of your saddle - it should be level ( make sure the bike is on a level surface before you do this). If the saddle is tilted forward you place increased pressure on your hands, this could be your problem. If it persists send me a PM, I do Ergofit setups and am based in Edenvale.

Save up and buy a set of Hopes, problem solved!
I am thinking of getting a double suss tallboy. Most of my riding is marathon type stuff. Not too worried about trail performance - just comfort on long days on gravel roads. The Tallboy has a horizontal back shock setup so I have two questions. Is the geometry comfortable and is the pedal stroke efficient - I have heard the vertical shock setup - like the Giant maestro has less peddle bob.
Can anyone verify?
Just buy the bike, the Tallboy is the best bike I've ever owned ( and I've owned many)
The new shop is very easy to locate, from the KFC follow the flags along the pavement to the lower entrance.
Exactly!!! I did the Fire Station section on a 32x17 last week, almost killed me, the tree was the least of my worries. You guys just need to be shorter then the tree isn't an issue
Howzit Trackie.......Papa Smurf hmmm i wont ask
Hi Jack, we went to the World SS Champs as the Smurfs - I was the eldest, hence I became Pappa Smurf.......and it sort of stuck!
Hub spacing is the same, most guys use a standard free hub with spacers to align the sprocket with the front blade. Chain tensioner is used when the frame does not have horizontal ( rear facing) dropouts, in order to keep the chain correctly tensioned. Can't post a pic, but hope this helps.
Nice!
Where'd you get the fork?
Unbranded Chinese Carbon, a friend brought a few in. It's now a Spank fork!
Would have loved to be there, unfortunately I'll be away......have a good one peeps! Papa Smurf will return, eventually.
I have had nothing but excellent service from the Giordana agents. Their kit is also top quality and lasts if you follow the care and washing instructions.
Who remembers what song this was used in the '80s?
“That judgment is spoken by the eternal court of history...Pronounce us guilty a thousand times over: the goddess of the eternal court of history will smile and tear to pieces the State Prosecutor's submissions and the court's verdict; for she acquits us."
Two Tribes 12" version, Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
I did the Trail
Rode the trail on a 32/20 all three days. Not too bad, just ran out of gas on the flats - but that was a trade off; worth doing.
Paying it forward Dips - nice one. Sad that we have to put money up to hopefully get back what is rightfully yours. Hope it works.
The Merida Big 9, air fork, great back- up from Cytek ( on the odd occasion it's needed) and an all round good bike.
Thule Euroway locking handle

Hi Guys, I know it's a long shot but I'm wondering if anyone has a Thule Euroway that they are stripping for spares.
The locking lever that attaches the rack to the towbar broke and Thule wont sell me a new one as it's a "safety concern".
The rest of the rack is 100% and I don't particularly want to take a second bond to buy a new one. I'm located in Gauteng.
Forever hopeful.
