  1. Thanks fr the link. Best waste of time EVER
  2. LOL. What would stop it to a degree is the steering dampers...
  3. yeah, I know. But still - far less prevalence now.
  4. Indeed. Also - tankslapper. It's mostly losing the front end nowadays.
  5. Look waht I found... http://www.gumtree.co.za/a-motorcycles-scooters/harrismith/1985-honda-cr500/1001633941320910170340409
  6. LOL. Initial indications were promising, however....
  7. yeah. Agreed. Just the time factor. My "active recovery" tends to be just recovery. As in normal everyday activities.
  8. LOL. I tried that. Any hills, and I instantly hit 80% plus of my real max. I have to actively concentrate on my breathing and go suuuuuper slow in order to just touch 70%.
  9. You've just highlighted why I feel absolutely gutted after stringing together a full week of effort in the gym or on the bike. I'm always up there...
  10. yeah, it's easy for me to maintain that. I feel broken afterwards, but I still maintain it pretty well.
  11. Yeah, anything would have had more grip than what you had on there. Just don't expect the same level of mileage from these. MTB tyres aren't built to withstand that level of mileage.
  12. YES!!! 3.5mm more clearance on the arch, so can run mid-fat rubber if I decide to, and a tougher chassis that screams "built for retards" - I'll take one, please. Just a pity for the price. Yoikes. No ways I'd be able to shell out R 15k for a fork. But I do like this bit: Internally, it's possible to alter the configuration of the rebound damper's shim stack if a softer or firmer rebound tune is needed. RockShox suggests doing this if riders find themselves at the far end of the range of adjustments, either a click or two from fully open or fully closed.
  13. Remember, I was with you when the plan for more effective & far reaching media engagement was penned....
  14. I've asked them, and the standard response is "the rand value of the discount on national membership is already greater than that of the single club membership with the 100% discount" that's bullshaite, and I've "escalated" the query with the Vitality guys and my Disco consultant (who is USELESS - I'm routinely asked by my employer if I'll consider going back to Disco cos the service I gave them was that much better than what we get now - if the staff in the office want info on Disco products, they ask ME, not the consultant - and I've been out of Disco for 6 years now) So no - don't hold your breath. I've spoken to the actuaries, and they're aware of the issue. Just know that there's no desire to rectify it at this point in time.
  15. Yep, Riyadh has indeed been heavily interested, but health & travel / work & family have kept him away for the most part. I've promised that I'll keep him informed as to when work starts up again though.
  16. yep. As soon as I get sick, I put myself in the spare room and dose my wife up on zinc etc. Not worth getting the other person sick...
  17. Here, for one: http://www.facebook.com/tokaimtb/posts/437191629807924 Then on Tweeeeeta.
  18. eek. Baby blade or the full 1000? If 1000, not a bike I'd like to ride without TC. ooooooooh... Oh. I still wanna see that 2 stroker around IOM. Watched the press day footage and OMFS that sound....
  19. All of them do, AFAIK. Most 600's have it as well. Ah, man. What am I saying. POWERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! http://i862.photobucket.com/albums/ab181/robos4/power-jeremy-clarkson-top-gear-power-demotivational-posters-1371363896_zps9aa1f941.jpg
