  1. Use courier guys every day. Great service and well priced. have send my bike in a bike bag to Pretoria and back to CT and all was 100%
  2. They do. Had to print 60 parts for a work project and was cheaper to buy the prusa and print it my self than to have it printed in SA. Took about 3 weeks printing 24/7. Not one problem or miss print.
  3. Love the prusa. Let me know if you have trouble. Had some setup problems. But after that every print is 100%
  4. Europe has removed the weight of the drones. In portugal or Netherlands I need license to fly.
  5. Looking to sell my mavic Air 1 combo for that price if you are interested.
  6. Just make sure you have the correct license when using for work. I have a air 1 and loved it until travelling with it became a no fly zone. cant fly in Europe, north america or 99% of the countries I travel to. Now I only use it for trips in SA
  7. It will be cheaper to pay the extra bag charge or over weight than paying for DHL. then when she lands in SA and goods she bought is under R5500 in total it will be free of vat. if its over R5500 she will pay vat on the amount more than R5500. this will be the cheapest overall option. If she can fit it into her hand luggage or strap the helmet to her backpack then it will cost nothing extra.
  8. Hi guys. I have a Prusa Mk3 and its amazing. Is not cheap but works great. The Prusa mini is a great option if you have a tight budget. $350 exl import cost I print a lot with petg and its great. Testing some other filament at the moment as well I have printed my own garmin mounts as well as dji action mounts that works great. printed a riser block for my kickr setup and cost me R100 in filament. The nice part was that I could custom make it to the perfect high that I needed. Most of the parts you will find already on the internet that you can download for free, If not I use Shapr3D on my Ipad to custom design things I want to print. the prusa software and slicer is very easy to use as well. Just my two cents.
  9. Got my Fenix 6x sapphire yesterday in Dubai. R13500 for the leather strap and normal black strap. Had the fenix3 for 4 years now and while on Holiday they watch got water into in while snorkelling. My First watch with HR build in and already liking all the new functions. The watch works well with bluetooth earphones and with build in music storage you don't need your phone with you to listen to tunes.
  10. Did you have the awesome reflector jackets?
  11. Was my first one so can't compare to last year. The first part to cp1 is fast and smooth From cp1 the road is good with some bumpy sections in between. The water crossings are low to very low with water so not too much to worry about wet feet. Both fangs have the concrete blocks so they are not too bad, steep but the concrete helps a lot. MAC was not bad. with concrete slabs on most of the steep parts you don't have to worry about wheels slipping going up. Going down from Bergplaas the road was awesome. 2 deeper water crossing so my feet got wet but that's about it. mini MAC is nice and rocky and the 5km single track at the end was very slippery. Overall a great race and an awesome event.
  12. Ciovita has a stand where you get your race number and sell the shirt there. They also have bibs, arm warmers, Legwarmers (saved my life n Saturday) and some other goodies. Versus socks are there as well. Good luck for the weekend
  13. HI Shadow You need to do a spindown every 2 weeks to calibrate your flywheel. You can do this with the wahoo fitness app or zwift if you use it. You have to do this every 2 weeks or when you move the unit/ reassemble the bike. On the wahoo app. go to Sensors( bottom left) Click on your trainer once it is connected to the app At the bottom, you will get spindown. They say you first need to warm up the wahoo for about 10min before doing the spindown. Hope this helps.

  18. I went pass this accident and glad that your friend is okay. He did not look in very good shape when I passed. Looked like the rider went strait into him and there was a lot of bleeding fromhis face. Cant understand how a rider could not have seen him. Hope you friend recovers well and thank him from all of the riders. Had a great ride from 2G and the bunch worked well together. What a amazing day to be on the bike.

  20. some new parts for the VIPA 1x11 XT Lyne crank Lyne Dropper post
  21. HI. Just want to know if the Dropper post is internal or external cabling?
  22. 2C was not a bad group to ride in. I was droped at Edinburgh thanks to my Full 5 days of training this year for the Argus. Climbed at my own pace and got into the second 2c group at the top of Edinburgh. We all stuck till smits and then the awesome wind helped a lot. At the start of chappies it was every man for himself. Bad crash just after small chappies and before the last right hander at the bottom of chappies. Must say the spectators at suikerbossie was a lot less this year then before?! Was a fast ride from the top to finnish in 3:19. was going for a 4-4:15 but the wind helped a lot this year.
  23. Looks like he was just following the yellow line! Funning thing was him passing trucks like they are standing still on the climes.
  24. Was a ford with a lot of wheels on the back seat!
