  1. Nice, what you going to do with it?
  2. Give me a shout if you get stuck These work for me http://www.csttires.com/int/wp-content/blogs.dir/4/files/2013/03/MTB_CST_BFT-3Qtr_glam_hp-copy.png http://www.csttires.com/int/bike/mountain-bike-tire/bftc1752/
  3. What fork did you have on there?
  4. Have the WTB Vigilante 2.3 650B on the front and the WTB Beeline 2.2 650B on the back. Good combo of tyres
  5. I have one at home. Not sure what it's worth, but I work in Bellville so will bring it with me tomorrow
  6. It's SOOOOO stealth, he's not telling
  7. I'm sure it's possible, it's just the will to do it
  8. It's a steel frame so you can bend it slightly. The Cotic roadrat frame has a spacing of 132.5mm to enable the use of road or MTB hubs.
  9. Those mini streams could partly have been caused because of the Pine plantations being removed and no longer sucking up that water. Just a thought
  10. Yes, Bennet Nel and his team needs to tackle this. That guy can do wonders
  11. You'll need a Lefty specific hub, Left bearing is 20mm and right bearing is 15mm IIRC
  12. To add with a 19.4% increase of the activity permit from last year what will the price on that be next year? R585? And the following year? R698? It'll get to a point when it won't be worth it especially if no more trails are added
  13. There is no dispute it makes more sense to get an annual permit. But some cannot do that and at R45 per day is high. Especially when it doesn't go into paying for the trails, we do this ourself through blood, sweat and some private funding. You should know that at the end of the month and expense of R430 might be possible, and R45 for a once off is too steep. But being that MTB is more addictive than cocaine some are forced to take the daily cost. Per day the Tygerbergmtb trails are cheaper at R30. And because they are private trails can be justified. AFAIK being a public space I'm already paying a portion of SANPARKS/TMNP through my taxes.
  14. And why should that make a difference?
  15. Nice one Tumbles, unfortunately at this stage Barney and Pingu are the shows of choice in my house
  16. For those who don't ride Tokai enough to make it worthwhile to buy a permit, it's exorbitant for the amount trails there.
  17. You can't keep using that justification Buying an annual permit doesn't make his point any less valid. As he explains in his later post
  18. Call me cynical but I doubt much will be spent on the actual mountain and MTB related things specifically, I really hope I'm wrong
  19. Bummed that I'm going to miss this
  20. That sucks dude, sorry to hear it
  21. Can I donate and still get beer?
  22. Aaaaah
  23. Why is he wearing the cone of shame?
  24. If you put a 160mm 650B fork on there, it wouldn't change the geometry at all. So you could do it the other way round too.
