This being my first Sani I need to ask some dumb Q's from time to time. How is our baggage, i.e. bike bags and stuff transported from Underberg to Scottburgh? Do the organisers take it down?

I changed from a Giant Anthem to a Santa Cruz Highball, one seriously well made and setup machine. It is only a pleasure.

I see on the website the route is not finalsed as yet. From all the scribbling above I am assuming we can very much go on what the route was last year, for it matters every year? Is there some maps around showing climbs and stuff?

The basic rule should be - just look behind you before you offload! Very nice feeling when you get to clean your sinuses out properly! B)

I am so gatvol of my FOX 29er shock and its issues, which I got with my Giant 29er, now my Santa Cruz, that I dont think I will ever be comfortable with a FOX ever again.

We just did the Sani2C bookings, forget about free travelling for your steed. Bike = R 200 extra, EVEN if you have NO other luggage. And if you don't do it online but on the day its R 300! They are a bunch of a..holes......

I think Racetec's whole system has gone belly up! See the stats keep changing..........

Anybody want to speculate why so many fewer sub 3's? I see only a handful in group C made it and no one in D? Finished in 3:09:50, but felt like 4:30!

I HAVE to give my PB of 3h00:18 a go this year. Is this possible out of C group? My main concern is that I don't think I have the shape currently to hook onto the racing snakes in this group?

Rumour has it he has a large investment in a cattle farm..... Needs to push some product!

Apart from the Goodie Bag not being any use, except the GREEN bag, I must voice my dissapointment with the Expo as a whole! What use to be an expo to look forward to regarding new bikes and the "new" things in the cycling industry it has now merely become a large hall full of bike shops selling much of the same. Yes, a few nice bikes, a few nice girls trying to sell you the next best pair of socks or energy drink, but nothing really WOW! If it keeps going this way we can just all buy from CWC, get it delivered, and have our numbers posted to us!
