  1. Sorry this guy beat you to it...
  2. Pretty much everything has already been said by the above guru's but another free bit of advice is JOIN A CHARITY group. Presumably you will be unseeded which means you will start just before 10:00am, but the charity groups will start at around 8:30am and save and in November an earlier start is a beeeeg help. The Paige Project http://thepaigeproject.co.za/ is a very good cause / group but there are stacks of other great ones as well. I would also suggest perhaps also doing a 3-4hr road ride a few weeks before at the Cradle or the like just to get some saddle time. And I know this is a slightly contentious point, but I'd say get slicks, it will save you a good bit of time and effort.
  3. Experienced this myself, truly disgusting as well!
  4. Do you get charged customs and VAT on this site or are they market as "gifts" as many of the Chinese sites do?
  5. Fantastic video thanks.
  6. Q: How do you know someone does crossfit? A: They will be sure to tell you!
  7. Been down with an injury since just after the Panorama so not sure if I'm going to hit the first hill guns blazing or rather have a social fun day out... Looking forward to it either way.
  8. Agree! Well the race officials at least are to blame. What about the Ferrari, wow it was a donkey around Monaco sending Massa into the barriers twice while it appeared that Alonso was trying to steer a Ford Falcon rather than a Formula 1 around the hairpin bends.
  9. Agreed and agreed
  10. Great cyclist and in a class of his own at the Giro, however although it's not quite impossibly, it is very very difficult to win two grand tours in a year, never mind 2 grand tours in 2 months. I also think his teams strength might be shown up against the far superior teams that will be taking part in the TdF and finally Nibali would generally be expected to lose time in time trails but at the Giro the time trials were more like mountain climbs and that suited Nibs style.
  11. The thing is, even taking Froome's form out of the picture, this years tour has far too much climbing for Wiggins to succeed. Sky would be absolutely nuts to back Wiggins ahead of Froome (or Uran for that matter). 29 June.
  12. In case Contador eats contaminated beef again?
  13. So here is my million Dollar prediction: Maillot Jaune: Froome, partly because of his great form this season and partly because I don't see anyone beating a Sky rider backed up by Wiggins, Porte, Uran & Knees. Runner Up: Contador Third: Nibali Fourth: Rodriguez Fifth: Van Garderen (assuming he is allowed to drop Evans on the hills AGAIN) I don't see anyone talking more sprint points than the Manx Missile Cavendish but I have no doubt Sagan and Gripel will nick a few stages off him unlike the giro where the challenges weren't even able to follow his wheel.
  14. Great victory and performance for Daryl! However, the global importance of the race cannot be that great when the official site doesn't even have an English version.
  15. I think it's a great way to react to yet another cheating scumbag who has brought disgrace not only to his team but also the sport and cyclists! Name and shame!!! Here is Andre Greipel response on Twitter: "Di Luca! Doping in cycling disappeared but not in your cycling world!0 tolerance for cheaters! Hope you never come back into cycling!"
  16. A mate of mine was once tested for winning group G at the Fast One!
  17. This is absolutely nuts, and they did it without EPO and drugs... Respect!!!
  18. Does this mean that you are angry and shouting or that you just can't find the caps lock key?
  19. I'd rather be a #BloodyCyclist than a #BloodyF#$%ingIdiot.
  20. This topic has so many discussion points and we could play the devils advocate on all of them. Personally Barry's admission does seem legit, however we do all know that the pros are doping the s#*t out of themselves, but I have no doubt that many amateur cyclists ARE taking illegal substances to give them an unfair advantage over guys who are more talented/harder working/better cyclists. So where to the UCI/CSA draw the line? How do you define a doping cheat? I guess it all just shows the sad state of affairs that is currently over shadowing our beloved sport.
  21. Wonderful news! Indeed He is.
  22. Yeah maybe try another PC, or hit "Ctrl" + "F5" to refresh the Garmin Connect webpage you are uploading from then try again?
  23. I uploaded files successfully just this weekend. You sure it's not your work network blocking uploads or something like that?
  24. I would assume there was an issue with using the highway route.
  25. I've seen a Formula 1's rear wing break off before and cause an accident... Doens't mean carbon fiber Formula 1's have poor build quality.
