  1. Anybody have an idea what size C40 suit me if I ride a 54s C60. I tried google but could not find any proper guidance. Many thanks
  2. You may be right but could it also not be a Giro special edition Campagnolo brought out? Here is a pic of Pantani bike with the same wheels.
  3. Awesome bike but just wondering why they placed the EPS/Di2 wire guide into downtube so low. Would have been neater to have the wire closer to the headset so it's closer to the junction box. They say it's going to be fast...

  5. Not sure if this has been reported but if you click on the search function and try and search for say "Colnago" in classifieds then the search ignores you and just opens latest ads.
  6. Interesting topic. Only thing I dislike is when you get a puncture you get all that stans that covers a beautiful frame and is a mission to get off, especially on a non-gloss frame.
  7. Thank you so much much Loose cog, you guys have really been a great help! Regards Gerhard
  8. Thank you very much HeyYou. Regards Gerhard
  9. Thanks a lot, looking forward to be joining you guys on a vintage bike soon!
  10. Thank you very much for your in-depth reply Loose cog. Much appreciated and yes it makes sense. Appreciate you time. Regards Gerhard
  11. Can anyone with the knowledge please assist me? I want to buy a vintage bike. My height is 1,82 cm and my inseam in 89,5 cm. Please advise what size Wilier Superleggera I must look at? Am I correct that the seatpost should a about a "fist" height above the top tube - not for sizing but to get the look right too as the seat tubes of the bikes of that era where much longer creating a higher top tube than the modern bikes of today. Assistance greatly appreciated. Thanks Gerhard
  12. This Velominati rule applies to your question and you must remind your wife of it constantly: Rule #12//The correct number of bikes to own is n + 1 While the minimum number of bikes one should own is three, the correct number is n+1, where n is the number of bikes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner
  13. Theres a very knowledgable guy called Miles Mayhew on this forum. He should be able to assist you.
  14. Best mtb groupset I have ridden. Can now ride a 36T upfront and have enormous climbing ability whilst keeping downhill speed up
  15. Good point. I ride mine on dirt roads and with the other guys on their 29ers. I get some chirps from some fellow riders but they go quiet when I ride away from them. I agree with you, these bikes are definitely not just suited to sand and snow. In fact my average speed is 1 kmph less comparing with my 29er on the same route. I love the geometry and Specialized have made their fat bike a real racer....
  16. They say on the net that the number 9 has bad luck for business promoting new products in Europe and hence they skipped the number 9. Windows I think followed this as well with Windows 8 to Windows 10
  17. Yip this works well. My fatbike's hub was not 1x11 compatible and to resolve the problem my my LBS fitted a shimano 11-46 and shifts extremely well with the 1x11 SRAM XO1 Groupset.
