  1. Carefully. ????
  2. Ask for address, tell seller a mate in his town will stop by to look at the goods. Quickly expose a scammer.
  3. Do you perhaps mean Burgersfort?
  4. No primer needed with Hammerite. The name Hammerite came from the hammered finish that the paint gave, they still make this as well as the smooth. Have a look at the colours available. It is extremely durable.
  5. If it were mine I would have the parts bead blasted, not the gears and moving parts, and paint with a smooth Hammerite which you can spray on if you have access to spraying equipment. No need to prime if you use Hammerite, nice smooth finish. Let the parts warm up in the sun before painting. I sprayed this engine with red Hammerite other bits with black.
  6. Look at Triton, I have the model which can take both 1/4 and 1/2 inch bits. They were an Aussie co until some years back so might be a good 2nd hand buy from where you are? Great router.

  8. Now who said you can't have your cake and eat it?
  9. She won't pay you because you keep giving her the advice for free! The general public will not hesitate to pay for advice from a medical or legal specialist but expect free advice from a tradesman because they do not value the trades like they do the medical or say legal profession. (Until the poo starts coming back up the toilet bowl!)
  10. Not used the Woodoc product myself so cannot offer a comparison. However, lets be honest, there are so many good products on the market today, a little research will point you in the direction you want to go and as long as you choose an appropriate product for the application and follow the instructions you'll get great results.
  11. Beeswax will not seal anything. You need Rystix interior armafloor. I sealed some Rhodesian teak counter tops, works well but needs a fair amount of time to harden.
  12. No idea but I would phone Anatomic https://weardirect.co.za/contact/ a member on this forum, or try a shop selling off road motor cycle gear.
  13. That is primary school woodworking workmanship right there. Ouch!
  14. At a glance it looks like Kiaat, best to sand a piece and smell it. The photo's of the whole piece look like brown/white Kiaat, cheaper and might be why the client is unhappy? If it is Walnut I would send it back buy I don't think so.
  15. You just killed the thread!!!
  16. A separate router has got to be a better option. Not expensive either.
  17. PM the size you need. I have a few colors.
  18. Why? Did someone cause him to crash? Part of bike racing is staying on the bike. Yesterday he said no one was going to gift him a win so why should he gift a younger first time potential winner the win. Or words to that effect.
  19. I have found white spirits (alcohol), mixed with boiled linseed oil, to be better as it does not leave a sticky residue.
  20. You did a great job Buff. Well played.
  21. Panache? I think you mean drugs? Funny, I searched all the results pages for the GT’s, no Lance there.
  22. Whatever gets you to 7 grand tour wins.
  23. He may be, he's old, been off the pace awhile, not at the best team. Would I bet on him? Probably not, would I bet against him? Not on your life. I'll just put this out here, Giro 2018. Now that he's no longer at Sky, what's not to like?
  24. Done. Thanks for taking this up Buff.
