I've been working on a simple blog for Dragons Sports where people can get some news and info on our products (Giant Bicycles, Mavic Wheels/clothing/shoes, Avalanche bicycles) and also help out with any queries that any of you might have. Check out the blog and feel free to drop us an email. http://dragonsza.blogspot.com Ghostface2009-08-13 05:20:40

  9. I saw the new shop last night. Looks good and way bigger than the old one.
  10. OK. here's a spanner. If I was a distro and had a shop phone me about another shop down the road/same area, that was selling the same brand etc, and the first store said "If you continue to supply that other store, I'm not going to carry your stock anymore. It's not worth the hassle", what should I have done?
  11. But you should always go to the agents and ask them if it's fine first.
  12. AHAGGGGGGGGGAHHAGGGGGGAH! Why is it not friday 5pm yet?
  13. swop your grips and the warrentee is gone?
  14. Saw some profile notices on FB this morning and thenfound out what happened. Not good. At least the op went well.
  15. Nope. The pitch is the distance from link to link. If you wrap a normal bmx chain around a MTB chainring it will only fit on the first 4 or 5 teeth and then start to go out of sink, like a really stretched chain. After thinking abit, you do get some BMX race chains that might fit but they aren't any stronger than quality MTB chains, as they are for racing only and therefore ligher (light does not equal strong).
  16. BMX chain will only work if the pitch is right, You cant take a MTB chain off and put a BMX chain on. It wont line up. The KMC Kool chain is awesome and your LBS should have them. R189.00 and Tough as nails. White is standard colour. try The Riot. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_z0ujN6dePt8/SZVHkAj19hI/AAAAAAAAAjU/fOihvRcbyx8/s400/Picture+015.jpgGhostface2009-06-17 01:09:35
  17. The nylon bushing is pressure fitted into the hub and then machined for proper/snug fit into the hub shell. They are not designed to be replaced. I've seen some replacement bushings, that someone made, on here but the seem dodgy, ie not evenly round. No doubt someone will claim they've used them with no problems. If I had a highend wheelset, I wouldn't put some home made parts in there. Go to Cyclesphere and talk to them.
  18. Happy birthday Brad!
  19. bikes aren't allowed on Seapoint walkways. ???.
  20. Well they aren't R125ea anyway, as already mentioned. They should be around R16ea.
  21. Post it the wrong way round?
  22. Hi Johan. The price you were quoted from the local mavic guys is for a pack of 10 spacers. They aren't R120 each. I believe you can order 1 if needed.
  23. Not here in Gardens. Been kind of busy though.
  24. Is this a Crossmax SLR or Cosmic Carbon SLR? You really should take it to your LBS that has a good mechanic. Mavic wheels use special bearings that have "play" built into them. If you use stock bearings you will ovalize the hub over time and have to buy a new hub/wheelset.
  25. If you bat the guys car, you can bet EVERY cyclist in PE will become a target for him and his friends.
