  2. I am looking to replace my old Edge 1000 with the new Edge 1040 Solar. The battery is not lasting. The price from Polar Rosebank is quite Harsh!! Anyone know where I can source one from cheaper?? Lord gun in the UK with VAT is about R5000.00 cheaper. Have not added import duty.

  5. Appologies if this has all been covered a 1000 times befor, but I cannot find it.....maybe too much Sav Blanc!! My Cycling club has pushed there 2016 fees up substantially, so I was looking at the advantages of Team Vitality. I have been a Vitality Diamond member for 4 years. The question I have is what races do they offer the rebates on? The website at the moment only showes one! for 2015.(plenty running!!) I do Ride for Sight; Argus and sometimes 94,7 the rest of the time MTB and preferably multi day events. Will my wife and I cover the R600.00 membership from rebates or not? Was hoping for a 2016 event list!!
  6. I think this is a total cop out; they have our money so do not give a toss. Just think what they could have come up with, had we only paid on the day??? West coast..... or to Stellenbosch...: Obviously not exposed to the daily stresses we in business have to deal with daily.

  8. As Cassie mentioned Prepsol is bio-degradable and probably the best cleaning product for the environment.

  10. Does anyone have a bread recipe that has a consistency more like normal bread and less like cake?
  11. With wet muddy gripshifts you HAVE to have gloves that grip otherwise everything just slides like snot.
  12. Quincy, sorry not hotties with warm hands.. they have a device that is made with memory padding, then once you get off they use a built in ruler to measure the distance your sit bones are apart.
  13. I used to be sold on Fizik until I was told by the Spez guys it was too narrow for my butt.. Never looked back, cant remember when I even thought about what the saddle feels like - will only now ever buy the spez.
  14. I had a long discussion with the Advocate that represented Daryl at the hearing and SIAD has some big issues internally they need to address. Their procedures just do not exist.

  19. I think it is time to call Cape Town Gangster City. I am sure you guys are now having more incidents than we are in Gauteng,
  20. The taller ones may be better - can lock the bike, we live in South Africa!!
  21. I would guess the guy riding the route took a dive on one on the descents and smashed the Garmin being used for the profile !! (joke)

  23. Must be a Farm Boy!!
  24. In races where there is very limited technical terrain one should call them Fun Rides. Races are no longer cheap and as such I feel there must be more technical to stretch your ability and also to spread the field out. I always feel there is value for money in an event when I get to the end and wonder how I got through XYZ section without coming off!!
