  1. I see the split jackets doesn't have the vents on the lenses as the racing jacket and jawbone has. Don't they fog up?
  2. I'm looking for this colour scheme....
  3. So Racing Jackets are the latest and greatest and suggested...
  4. Thanks a mil... I had a look around and browsed the internet for some images. Like i mentioned, it seems the only difference is the Racing Jacket has holes at the end of the stems to fit a strap.... that seems to be pretty much it. The Racing Jacket is also slightly cheaper than the Jawbone plus you get the strap with the Racing Jacket by the seems of things
  5. I'm currently having a look at purchasing one of these sunglasses and just wanted to know what the significant difference is? I understand that the Racing Jacket has holes at the end of the stems for a strap.... but other than that....? Which would you recommend?
  6. So has seen any REAL benifit of joining the Cannondale club?

  9. Hey Jokerman.... how's the unit treating you? My first bike computer was one of these http://www.o-synce.com/en/products/bike/macro-series.html I never had an issue with it and the battery lasted forever
  10. Isn't there a road race on in Benoni on the 31st of August?
  11. My vote is in... 12-14hours blood, sweat and tears
  12. LOVE the wave pics.....!!!! Verrrrrry nice
  13. If it's only a slight sniffle... then i'd take the chance and go train... BUT, being sick and go training is looking for cr@p. Also, to keep on training when you're sick will put you on your @ss very quickly and keep you there for quite some time
  14. Size 58 should be fine
  15. I have my polar for close to 3 years now. I did a change of batteries on the components last week, and had to get 'n new HR strap as the old one was a bit faulty. Everything is working like new again
  16. Scott2luvit.... All the best with your decision making on whether to go for the op or not. I'm affraid i can't help you with who to see in CT as i'm in JHB. I had the op done on 6 June this year, also after numerous visits to the physio, chiro, stretching, rollong, rest, time off etc etc. It took some time and self discipline to get back to cycling and not go too hard to fast after the op. I've gradually started building myself up again after the op and have really nurtured my knee well during this course. I'm now 90% back to my normal cycling routine and training.... What a dream come true to cycle a long distance without any issues or murdering pain. Good luck
  17. This sounds very cool... good time to meet some of the fellow hubber and riders
  18. So I went for my bike setup this morning at Cycle Fit. As the old saying goes "first impression lasts" .... these guys surely know how to make that first impression a memorable one... all the guys from Cycle Fit, come out, greet you by name and make you feel at home straight away! Well done guys. During the setup, Richard explained each and every single detail to me, why he is doing the changes he is, and what result can be expected. Some changes came as a bit of a surprise, and other I knew was an issue. At the end of the assessment, all the surprised changes made complete sense. The friendliness, the professionalism, the entire visit was awesome. No just to kill some kilometres to test out the new setup, and give the guys some feedback by next week. Thanks a mil Cycle Fit... You okes are great!!
  19. Entered and ready to go for Ertjies and my dad...
  20. I'll definitely be doing this race!! My dad and Ertjies were very good friends and cycled together very often for many years. Sadly my dad also passed away last year November and doing the Ertjies race will be in memory of my dad as well and the friendship that they shared.
  21. I use these Yurbuds http://yurbuds.com/products/behind-the-ear/focus-pro/ Never had a problem of them falling out and are very comfy
