Hey guys and girls, thanks very much for a very nice ride. It was Lovely seeing a few familiar faces again and lovely meeting some new ones! Once again thanks for the patience for waiting for Michelle and I, we are both very unfit and the help was greatly appreciated at the back! Must be honest the legs were a little eina yesterday and kept reminding me that I rode! And Ewep please thank the sister for driving support for us!!! And for being so patient at the back with us. We'll dine to their first support drive!!!! (Tell her we all loved them so much and requested they come do it again!!! see problem of having to be home early solved ).No really, please tell her thanks a special bunch!!!

What chanel is it on on DSTV? I can only find re-runs of yesterday's stage??

Sorry SP you would be welcome to drive with me as usual, but I'm not staying at home on Friday night and will be going stright to the ride as I'll be closer. I will find out if Brig is going then you could ride with her, or maybe even G.

Hi Y'all Myself, Wonder Woman, Ewep, ShaunH (I think) and a few others will be doing an easy training ride on Saturday morning in the South of JHB. We will meet at 7:30 (brrrrrr!!!!!!!) in the parking lot of the Panorama Shopping Center on Klipriver road and will be doing about 70km's. We will most probably stop at the circus for coffee as well. Ewep and ShaunH is busy organising a support vehicle and the roadworks on 'the steps' have been completed. Please remember that this will be an easy training ride. If you would like to join us please let us know, so that we atleast now how many people to wait for.

MichealH - Sorry man I was thinking of starting up our morning rides again next week, but damn it's cold and I don't know if the girls will brave the cold yet?? I'll speak to the other cyclist in the house and see if he's is keen to go ride Thurs coming David also said he's finished with exams and wants to start again. I'll also contact Connection and see if he's interested!. Will let you know by Tuesday next week!

Cool thanks WW, I was thinking of doing the 70km loop (I think it goes through Walkerville), past the circus for coffe and pancakes and then back up the steps. Thanks for the push offer, I'll try not having to take you up on it! Another few girls might just join us as well, oh and anybody else that wants to, as long as they know it's bound to be slow!

Hi there I would've loved to join you as I was planning to go ride out there on Saturday, but my boss has decided that I have to take clients to go watch the Wesbank series at Kaylami tomorrow, so no can do, as we are meeting at 7:30 for breakfast! Sorry bout that, but I'm dead keen if you are going to do it next weekend again! I have to warn you guys though, I haven't been on the bike in 6 weeks and have only done two days in the gym since being back in some form of action. So I have most probably (ok defintely) lost all my fitnes. My first ride back might be very slow, so if you guys are up for it next weekend as well then it's a date!!! I'll have to arrange backup as well, to push (or pull) me up some hills!

Try Diadora - gheko's, they are nice to ride with and very comfortable to walk (push ) in. I got mine about 3 years ago for around R800, not to sure what they go for now? Besides I'm sure the Diadora girls don't promote crappy products! And as per lots of previous comments on the hub, the Diadora girls are the best!
