  1. That's not leverage, you guys are going to have to do much better than that! I DON"T EAT PEAS AND I'M PROUD OF IT, have no shame about it!!! Mampara - he's a big boy and can take care of himself (he did fine before he met me, ok yes since he's met me he's life has improved in every way, but hey....... ) besides I have my own training program to stick to. And like Bateluer said I make dinner and breakfast, he can handle the rest Plus I've already given up the weekend of the Kremetart to do full support, I do my bit! BB - I don't have anything planned yet, if people are riding there, then I'll go through, but if no one is going to ride then I'll just do a ride at home. I have a nice little route that I'll do. Chilli - wag net suster ek sal jou nog vang op kamera, ek bring saterdag een saam en gaan my oomblik afwag - he he he he he
  2. Thanks Bateleur, But the closer to home the better, have a very important function in the avie. The South was the furthest I would travel and knowing how flat the route is, time wise wouldn't be a problem. Also I do the trip From Randburg to Panorame in 22 minutes
  3. Oh dear, looks like I'll be riding on my own then Goof luck with the wedding and school!
  4. Hi Y'all Who is not doing berge 'n dale tomorrow and is up for doing a ride in Da Souf. Was thinking the usual, Panorama through to circus for pancakes and back, about 80km's. All the speed freaks should be doing the race, so it should be a nice easy ride. Let me know if you are interested!

  7. Hi Y'all I know this is a topic that has been discussed before but I can't find the thread, so maybe someone can help me again? I have a Polar Cadence sensor but can't seem to get it to pick up on my watch on a carbon bike. I remember reading about this somewhere on the hub before but like I said couldn't find it. What do you do to get it to work? I tried it on a few places (as much as I can) but can't go to far out of range of the watch anyway?? Any help/advice? Thanks
  8. Terribly sorry to hear that racman!!! How old is he? You find that often with puppies. My brother's husky puppy was stolen a couple of years ago. Very sad. Phone the local vets, spca's and shelters and leave your details with them, the poeple might decide otherwise in a couple of days or a month and then he might turn up! Good luck!

  14. most non-cyclists are completely unaware that a bicycle has as much a legal right to be on the roads as a car. I had a conversation with my co-workers over lunch the other day about it as they were complaining about cyclists taking over the road. I informed them that for a vehicle to be deemed by law to have a right on the road a certain amount of these vehicles (and I'm sorry but I can't remember how many right now) has to be sold, and bicycles exceed this limit sold every year in this country, which means we have just as much right to that road as a normal car, so if that means we want to ride 5 abreast, we can as long as we stay within one lane, a car still has to go around you in the other lane, like it would another car. But because cyclists are curteous we ride mostly in single file, and in the yellow line (which I pointed out is illegal even for us to do, because we share the same rights as a car and it's illegal for them to do so) to give cars the right to the road, and that a car by law has to go past you and leave 1.5 meter space. They were astounded and had no idea and all of them said that in future they will have more regard and patience for cyclists on the road. I think we are treated the way we are because of lack on knowledge of general road rules and laws of this country, so we need to educate people, and beleive me no one who doesn't cycle is going to do this, so us cyclists need to do it ourselves, without getting into fights and situations like that. my 2c

  16. Can you still ride at wesbank, I heard it was closed to cycling again??
  17. oh crap, ok then maybe my physio???? Let me know if you want the details!
  18. hey mike PM Slowpoke, there is a lady she goes to, just around the corner from Northwold spar, very good I've heard. else a physio could do the trick as well. pm me I have a good one in Banburry crossing shopping center.
  19. I got mine from dis-chem, not sure who makes it?? I have tried Vooma, Gu, Enervit, Energy Dynamics, and a few more but I can't remember now what they are, anyway, I just never felt like they really did anything (esp not if I listened to some sotries of my friends) and if it did something it was short lives and I felt drained and even more tired after. Tried these twice now and I clearly feel like I have more energy and power and like I said you don't come down in spikes from it (well me anyway) it works itself out gradually.
  20. [quote name=Zoo Cookie fulmenicilus and i did the first part very slow' date=' so when coming back there wasnt any real buches left to get into, so we were kind of on our own. at one stage i had a lady specific wasp and felt good to go, taking on the wind - daai goed dit woema in jou wiele. no it was great fun i'll be back for more. [/quote] I agree ZC, those things really work. I tried one for the second time yesterday and they do give you a real boost, plus I find that you don't "come down' (I know sounds like taking drugs but can't think of another way to word it) as bad as you do from other one's I have tried. Plus it tastes really good and isn't as thick as others so is easy to swallow. Will be getting some for the 94.7 this weekend!! amateur2007-11-12 05:48:47
