  1. Hectic Frail! I'm sure you all healed by now. Those truckers should check their load before moving off, but a lot don't.
  2. Cervelo Soloist has an adjustable seatpost to fit time trialing riding position. Can be pricey though.
  3. Yes agree you could ride a 56cm bike top tube, but depends on your legs to torso ratio - solution: get measured at a bike shop. 10 speed, 105 shimano at least. Enjoy road biking, watch out for taxis and cars that drive like taxis.
  4. Buy the R-Sys you won't be sorry. Leave the carbones, they just look nice on your bike and are hellish with the SE.
  5. Hey, Try the following website: http://www.thetristore.com/bybrand_products.asp?brand=6&cat=76&make=Specialized I have bought from them before. Be aware of the VAT and possible import duties and other charges that may/will apply.
  6. People generally don't stop or help - whether you've been mugged or in an accident...tis terrible!
  7. Hi, So sorry to hear this. Do you have any pictures, particularly the Dahons?
  8. Damn!!!! So sorry for your losses - makes we think that we should be setting a trap for these m/f...ers!
  9. Ya, this is a problem in all clubs! We're almost like politicians, thinking we won't get caught!
  10. My most comfortable bib has to be Giordana - bought one from CWC for I think about R1100. My other specialized bib gave up the ghost after two years, i.e the chamois is finished - but I suppose that is to be expected considering all the riding I did in them. I've had cheaper anatomic bibs, but they weren't as comfortable as the Giordana or the Specialized bibs. Generally, for me price is a good indicator of comfort and quality.
  11. Scrub it after every ride and it'll always be white. Too much effort for me though, went black and never going back....to white tape.
  12. Gosh that white tape is...white! Looks great.

  14. Hi, I've been using 32GI for the last three weeks. Time will tell if I'm losing weight and how my performance will improve. One question though: is there any clenbuterol in 32GI? I can't afford to be disqualified from my next PPA race!
  15. Icould do with $3mil, now where did i put that bottle of clenmbuterol!
  16. Thanks DMC. No I'm leaving the office early, and doing a long slow (love handle burning) ride. Might get you guys on the way back!
  17. Thanks MDW
  18. Thanks guys, Lots of comments there! I have some introspection to do, something to think about on my next long ride! haha. Cheers,
  19. Thanks guys for the comments. I also received some nice endurance articles - should be an interesting read.
  20. Hi Hubbers, Could I have a problem if I changed two of my midweek rides (normally 90 minutes each) to 3,5hrs each and still do my regular long rides on Sat and Sun. This would take my training hours for the week to approximately 16hrs. I am in SubVets this Spring (first time), and would like to be stronger and leaner rider. Those long mid week rides I'd do at 60% to 75% HR, so it won't be hard training at all. Is this too much training? Training looks like this: M-rest, T-3.5hrs 65%HR, W- 90mins spin, T-3.5hrs 65%HR, F-rest, S-3hr fast pace ride, S-3.5 hr rollers. Is this too much slow riding? Or too much riding? Is there anybody riding as much as this or more (non-pro riders that is)???? Comments anybody? Ciao
  21. My beer only comes in bottles. Damn!
  22. They don't stock Specialized. Raleigh, Schwinn, Merida, Giant are some other names are stocked though. Good prices, and a bargain table is out all year round.
  23. Thanks MDW, interesting menu. Question: MD = ?, maybe maltodextrose or something like that?
  24. Any members vegetarians? Do you use a protein shake to supplement protein needs or is their enough (type and variety) in lentils beans etc
  25. Fix it, or you might end riding with odd colour socks, or worse non-matching bib and jersey!
