That bit of road is an access (escape) road from Pinelands - can't blame the cyclists for acting a bit crazy - could have been a few oldies forgetting where they are or a newly married couple punch drunk in love. Also it's a public holiday - what are you driving for? Use your bike!

There will always be someone who thinks your price is too high, even if it's free! If you're happy with your price, defend and stick with it. For example you could say a full XT groupset sells for XX, ZTR wheels for YY, blah blah blah - voila - bargain people!

OC is okay, I deal with Greg and Jason. Jason loaned me a 120mm stem, fitted it, had it for a week, and I returned it at no cost. Their prices are a bit steep, but their range is awesome, and on the big items you can always negotiate. I always get a 10% discount at the till (it's given without asking) even on small items like tires, bombs etc.

Agree with Popeye - the tickets are traceable. Don't think the rumour is true.

That downtube looks oval, plus the cutaway in the seattube would make this the aero frame. I love matt black finishes

For 7k try Cycletraders in Woodstock - Avron might take your old bike as a trade.

What to do - we are so vulnerable on our bikes - at my wits end. Also had a couple of close calls on the Cape Flats.

Same here Airbender - I was spolit by the quality and commentary of the Paris-Nice coverage - so imagine the shock when the recording. Luckily the FF button saved the day.

I thought the venue itself was nicely dressed up for the EXPO. There is free parking around the venue, and alot even further into D6 if you don't mind walking. Having said that though, have to agree that the CTICC would be loads better. On the plus side - the black Pinarello is simply gorgeous - I want one - so if anybody wants to swop their black Pinarello Dogma with SRecord and Campy wheels for a Spez SL2, SRAM Red and R-Sys - PM me. Size 54 -56cm. (I'm a borderline size - don't ask).

Cool ride - thanks Wannebe. Stayed with Vallie when he punctured, Tjommies and another dude also waited since we were all riding thru to Southern Suburbs via Lower Main Road. - got to have numbers thru this stretch. Anyway, it was fun - definately do a Hub ride anytime.
