  1. I love the new website. No problems!
  2. Good one Breekwater. I don't why we need to be anonymous though. It'll add more credibility to items placed for sale.
  3. Hi, You should report the accident (if you can call it that) to the PPA and open a case at the police station possibly with a charge of reckless driving. Glad you're okay though Cheers
  4. Scalpel load a pic so we can judge for ourselves the extent of your problem. I have noticed that one of our club riders has moerse big calves as well. He pedals with his feet pointed down throughout the pedal-circle and his calves are always bunched up making them look even more moerse bigger!

    Woolworths

Good topic this one - At some point we feel we own the shops - so they cannot just change what they selling...can they? My take is we don't own the shop, we can't tell them what to stock etc. If something doesn't sell, then it's taking up valuable space in a shop and shouldn't be stocked.
  6. Good one Agteros!
  7. You guys should all loosen your ties and relax. Breathe in, out and a few more times, and accept the world for what it is. There you go, Now I've got a Specialized Raleigh with Bora R-Sys wheels, 2007 model but hardly used, so selling as new, at below cost for R60,000 and it has a carbon fork with oval chainrings and a tiagra thingy at the back. Don't ask me for pictures as I can't upload them - plus you all know what I'm talking about. Thanks HUbbers:clap:

    LOOK 986

Interesting saddle on that Look. I want one for my duallie. Can't make out the brand!
  10. That was a close one MrG
  11. Any other 32GI addicts out there? It's confession time.
  12. Check the Cycle Factory shop in Montague Gardens. Last time I needed 105 caps they had them for R100/pair.
  13. us = bikeriders and them = bike hijackers/thieves ....I think
  14. Agree with Tarmac SL3. My SL2 is beautiful and crack free. Wrt selling price of the Sl, I would hazard a guess around the R8k/R9k mark, since the SL2's sell for around R10k to R12k.
  15. I say we ride together to draw Governments attention to our plight. Across the country all cyclists come out and ride to the central police station in their area to hand over a memorandum setting out our problems and issues. Who's with me on this one - anybody? I'm in CT - I'll lead this regions ride to Caledon Square next week Friday.
  16. CWC will/should be able to supply you with the parts.

    Finally!

What about George and Oudtshoorn - those places were bone dry!
  18. Mampara - Outside points of shoulders or c-c/ i.e where the joint is?
  19. The best deals are on the Park tools! There are some bikes and the prices seem reasonable. But you'll have to check it out for yourself I suppose. There was a set of open corsa tires for R150 each!
  20. Thanks guys. Anybody using the CS600 with power? The whole package is available for R4200 or so from CRC.
  21. Hi Hubbers, I'm looking at upgrading from my CS200cad, to the Polar CS500 or CS600, both with Power. Can anybody tell me about their experience with the CS500 - seems to be a new product from Polar. Thanks Fakes
  22. You should not ride like that. But you can adjust the FD, if you want. As DMC says the chain will stretch more quickly.
  23. There is a market out there for this......at least somebody thinks so.
  24. Bikeinn.com - cool will give them a try. The Rand is really strong so goods from overseas are so much cheaper!
  25. If you were racing in a wind tunnel, ya don't buy the R-Sys. Trust me I own and ride the R-Sys and Carbone, and my fav wheel is the former. The R-Sys are fantastic for the climbs, very light and there are no aero issues when climbing. On the flats, in races the weight of these wheels and sitting in the bunch (make sure you take a few pulls at the front) makes the ride a breeze compared to the carbones. Don't take my word for it though. See if you can test ride a set and decide for yourself.
