  1. And Mike Sinyard cracks open another beer after taking his unmarked Audi S4 for a spin around Morgan Hill.
  2. Pants are comfy. I cut the internals out so I can wear them over bibs. They have been tailored to fit slim around the legs.
  3. Have to say, wondering this myself 🤷🏻
  4. Best route would be to book the fork in for a service and then a proper assessment can be done. Biggest bushing issue I’ve ever had with RS (and not very often if I may add) was bushings not sitting deep enough, in other words flush.
  5. This is very true, however looking at new bikes year on year, I’m starting to believe that most of these “engineers” are simply autocad designers with marketing degrees.
  6. It all depends if you are seeing some rubbing from dry dust wipers, or perhaps gouges from dirt that got trapped in the dust wipers, causing wear. The only way to determine stanchion wear is to drop the lowers and see what they look like lower down. If you have wear there, it’s a sure sign that the internal bushings were never seated properly, they would have worn along with the wear to the stanchions, and would need to be replaced. People tend to neglect the importance of a lower leg service, it’s normally left for “too late”
  7. Exactly that brand. The team they used in that must have never worked on bicycles for a living. Was developed by designers.
  8. I swear these bike manufacturers think of the aftermarket service as an afterthought sometimes. Pfffffffft ….
  9. I have all the tools one could wish for, on this particular bike it made no difference, the dumbest of angles through the headset and the most dumb angle around one of the shock bolts to run it in to the gap which takes it through the rear stay.
  10. Spent an hour on a bike today just to replace a rear cable inner and outer. Had to remove the fork, strip down headset area, drop the lower bolts for the rear shock, just to get a new internal cable brought. Bloody pain for mechanics, but hey “it looks so clean”
  11. I wonder what this new wave of hairdressers would have said in those old Epics. You know the ones where people keep talking about the 70k’s of dirtroads, but they forget the other 70k’s of technical mayhem with rivers and portages that made up the 140 kilometer stage for the day.
  12. I vividly remember riding those early Epics. The good old days when lunch was roosterbrood that you bought with your own money after rambling around the Kaap for 130 k’s a day average. We identified as mountainbikers back then.
  13. Hard men. RPReplay_Final1681199667.mov
  14. Don’t see an option to vote for Lance
  15. All Fridays used to be Good Friday’s on lehub
  16. We need it back 😀
  17. I’m sure they will Any good bike mechanic can also take a vernier to the frame and inform the customer whether their bike would be compatible or not. Once it’s fully available and said customer is of course interested in the upgrade.
  18. You have hit the nail on the head, tgefe is a good number of frames that are compatible that have been around for a while.
  19. Of course it’s XX 1 AXS And nome of us are any wiser to what the OP is actually asking.
  20. Hi I’m a man with a passion for bicycles and all things bicycles. I identify as a dude. I love stage races, like racing to and from pubs at various stages of searching for the perfect beer. I hate punctures because I don’t carry tubes. Love brunettes. Been the captain of the Transvaal bingo team for the past 5 years. Hobbies :music, watches, beer, sneakers, bicycles and brunettes. Happy to meet y’all.
  21. Top quality products from them, always.
  22. All designed and manufactured in-house
  23. All good advice here, but the truth of the matter, bearings wear and need replacement. Also bear in mind, unlike a wheel bearing, a pivot bearing doesn’t rotate. Bushings won’t be your solution. Also bear in mind that bearing installation is critical to bearing longevity…..ie a hammer and socket won’t be the ideal way to evenly press a bearing in to its home.
  24. From what I was told, that’s standard in 32 tooth
