  16. Protea run the accommodation on the North side of the reserve accessed off the N3 / R550. You can get brekky in the building by the main car park now. Thanks JL that makes sense!
  17. I think there must be some confusion here the only Hotel and Camping Site that I know of in the reserve used to be called Karee Kloof and the entrance to that was on the R557 road on the Meyerton side of the reserve. This also gives you access to the reserve. That was then taken over by Protea Hotel and as far as I know is still the only place there is. There is however a signpost on the N3 road to the Hotel at Klipriver road but you must then go past the north entrance to the reserve to get to the R557 entrance. So in my mind the reserve has two entrances and the Hotel one? Or I might be wrong?
  18. The unit is mounted from the side but the foam rubber just keeps enough support under the unit so the shock from the road is absorbed in the foam rubber and not the actual mount and therefore placing the mount under unecesarry strain..
  19. I had the same problem with mounts breaking on my edge 705 and then came up with this solution Went to local hardware store and bought a roll of this..... Plain roll of single sided black foam rubber at around R10 for the roll. Cut two pieces off stuck them on top of each other and then stuck it underneeth the garmin unit in front of the bracket. Made sure the bracket was not pulled too tight on the cable ties and have never since broken a bracket and have replaced to foam rubber once in a year.
