Which chains are you guys using with the SRAM power links as I just bought 3 SRAM Links and they do not fit on the Shimano HG53 chain but the KMC X9 link does?

Yep I like the speed of things as our network connection is not the best due to all the traffic and this works a lot faster great stuff:)

Click on your name top left and select Messages if this is not displayed on your drop down menu then go to your settings and start the Edit Settings then change your PM's to on.It is on one of the settings or profile menu settings I think admin put them all to off yesterday.... The PM option is under Settings - Notification Settings- Privacy Settings

Agree with Gerhardc cannot see how that can work. I have seen what an IDT does to a normal road tyre eish.

On a serious note I have seen others of those inserts and they are purely there to make the tape thicker and absorb more vibration ie a softer ride on the hands.

The cateye only counts revolutions and the time it takes to make one revolution and then uses either the manual tyre circumference or default setting to then calculate the speed so resistance and wind speed does not make any difference to it. What could make a difference is the amount of compression of your tyre between the road and the indoor trainer as the two surfaces are not the same. This effectively changes to radius at which the wheel is turning and ultimately the circumference and thus the distance travelled per revolusion.

I also wear t he optical one sand they are great have not had any trouble with them. Only thing I would love is a set of orage/yellow lenses for them!
