  1. Understood Dr V. I just want to monitor fairly obvious items such as pauses in heart rate during or after exercise, and if i get lengthy ones during seep. I am not interested in keeping the Holter on nor can i afford to have a weekly check with the doc. Hopefully the report i get today will alleviate any concerns I have and it will all be a good sign forward.
  2. Not specifically related, but i have a low heart rate and seeing a doc about it as a general check. I am wearing Holter on for the next 5 days so they can check heart rate while sleeping, exercising etc. I also seem to have an occasional pause in my heart beating every 10 heart beats or so (after a treadmill run while on the ECG), the doctor was not overly concerned about it. I would like to observe my heart rate myself using a HRM, probably wrist based. Question, is there a HRM that allows you to see the raw data of the heart rate, i.e. heart beats on one axis and time on a second axis. I do not want to see the average heart rate as that does not give me any real information about what the heart is doing in that particular period. Is there a watch or brand that allows you to see the raw data and not just the average heart rate.
  3. Same on mine. Want to try a 2.4 but not tried yet.
  4. Is this where i have to think carefully about using words like dum@55 etc, just in case the community of genuinely challenged individuals (by no fault of their own) takes exception to these guys?
  5. Or when the World Fun Ride champs is on.
  6. Assuming you like sports, so put on live sport. Cycling is a little early for most of us to train, but the Vuelta is on later now. Put the TV on with cycling and see if you can cycle like they do, whatever the terrain. I am on Rouvy right now and still enjoying it. Sufferfest is awesome though, so enjoy.
  7. I want to know what the rest of the writing is on his shirt.
  8. That portion that is 39.4% gradient must be wicked....
  9. Hahahaha Never go Full Karen!
  10. 1) Yup, annoying 2) Better d@mn well not be. I paid a lot of money for something I was told was (and remains) well on its way. Pyga should stop being so full of it and deliver on their "local" promises!
  11. Keith R knew about internal sanitizing long before Covid. Won plenty of bottles of "Champagne ( ) " jumping higher than anyone else for many years...... RIP my man
  12. Sorry dude. I dont know...... they were very helpful to me up here in Joburg 6 months ago (pre Covid Cr#p). They are next door to you there. Maybe a happy camper in Durbs will meet you in car park and swap their Stage for you car keys and arrange a test ride...... #askingformynephewonanoilrig But seriously maybe someone will PM you for a discussion State your bike size and see what happens,
  13. Oddly enough i need a set forward dropper. My saddle cant go forward anymore to get the knee/pedal position correct. Odd for a 2.03 dude........
  14. Interesting. They normally have sales guys out there at their preferred LBS allowing guys to ride them. I had offers to try out the Stage and the Alu gravity bike shortly before lockdown. Somebody had a bad hair day or the stock is presold and they have no spare bikes to show around. Where are you located?
  15. Be careful what you wish for. If they open an account with a stoopid company like ******** who do zero checks and dont care that they have been given BS info (they happen to sell short term insurance, funeral benefits etc and other stuff). You proceed to close said account with them via police affidavit, they debit your account, you close that account as you figure someone has leaked your account details, then they proceed to debt collectors etc who will eventually black list you. Its a damn painful experience trying to catch people before they mess with your credit rating and livelihood.
  16. Yes, i can attest to that.
  17. I love vehicles that fit the ice cooler vent right next to the beer bottle holder. Not many manufacturers do that anymore....
  18. Add Snakebite at van Gaalens to that, MTB, but who cares it is rof! 172 m ascent over 1,970 m, the full climb includes a couple of other segment with about 60 to 70 m more ascent.
  19. Its a niche market custom bike made mostly from wood, gravity bike brand. Very big brand in Hawaii interestingly enough.
  20. Entered the Virtual Amashova, it is another ride of a different nature so who really minds anyway. edit, corrected info provided
  21. It is too much effort to get off your fat butt and go do something as directed by your job desription. Too dangerous (these cops are scared man... quite obviously), so they just play stoopid.
  22. What an exciting but complete F$%#$@#ed up thread. Its like listening to squad cars back in the day!
  23. Some of this advice is a bit like when they invented cars/motorbikes that could go faster than a horse. The theory was you would die in a fiery ball of death and carnage if you ever went faster than a horse could run. The horse barrier.
