  1. I also feel there is a bit of an authoritarian closing of topics that rub management up the wrong way, e.g. if you mention "comments in the classifieds section" anywhere other than its dedicated thread, they seems to go bye bye. The hub is about like minded members, with more than just an obsession about bikes only. Off topic Threads make me come back and keep a smile on my face. I find that is important these days. Hate speech etc must take a long walk on a short plank which is a very different issue.
  2. Need that extra large frame to hurry up......... ????
  3. What? You mean feed the machine that is still trying to convince us the earth is round and Covid is real? #anyoneknowwherethecomicsansfeatureis
  4. This dude https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/cranksets/466856/s-works-carbon-crank-complete-your-tarmac
  5. Rebuilding mine for my Boet as well.....
  6. This thread is like a rambling Trump tirade on Twitter. Alternative facts, unjustified indignace, random information thrown in that may or may not be a truth, moaning about people that have a different opinion, deny deny deny etc etc. But i must admit, even i am getting tired of CEMEH's waffling on and on.
  7. Come on guys, lets throw a pro bone to the OP here. Maybe start with a crowd fund to help him get a new bike on the road. I have a set of (mostly working) DUB crank bearings from a fixer upper i am busy with. Is there an address we can send the parts to?
  8. I had the same. I am 90% sure that it is because you did not reply to a click box from Uber (the company App itself) that said you must would wear the mask during the ride. It is a stupid little tick box that no one even sees. Check when your Uber has arrived that you check little tick boxes or pop ups from Uber. I complained to them and they said it was from Uber, not the driver. That is assuming that the response i got from Uber was legit........
  9. AAAAAAHHHH, the thread that keeps on giving. Gotta love the determination here by OP.
  10. Maybe Biogen are trying to distance themselves from MTBs or even riders in general and this is their way of indicating contempt.
  11. WOW! You were right. Avoid the video at all costs. Could not watch it all....
  12. If you have a spinning bike and Mark Cav decides to do some sprint intervals, the force he puts down will be 10 times that of an 80 kg medium build Joe Soap standing on the pedals/cranks. Do we ban interval training on spinning bikes now. I am calling BS on the claim you can bend cranks by standing on the pedals (or even standing on the cranks). Basic moments of inertia.
  13. Do they actually touch brakes??? Skills i will never (nor do i think i want) have
  14. Hope you are OK Hansolo. Your backyard.
  15. Are you running in ANT or Bluetooth mode. After my Garmin HRM failed, i have a Tickr now and the whole system runs off Bluetooth without issues. I have wirelsss mouse, but the rest is hardwired for my setup. Not had any drops for a long time. Running Kickr 4 on Rouvy.
  16. Thanks..... I'm gonna be up chucking the rest of the day now......
  17. Vodacom is rubbish in the middle of Bryanston. They refuse to come and check and will not let my wife out of her contract even though they have failed to honour their end of the contract which is a signal and a service she can use. MTN have come to a number of houses in the area after one call to their help desk including installing a booster. Not sure why you are having so much of an issue. Maybe you are getting teh bum deal my wife is getting but from the competition...... Go figure. Good luck and hope you resolve your issues.
  18. A mate from years ago had a little red car, thought it was a Stanza, but not, that also had the dog leg. Confused everyone.
  19. No deliveries that i am aware of. 10 or 12 large frames made i think, they are starting production on the mediums and still mucking about with the mould for the XL. Had a release show and tell at Blackstone Tec last week, but i did not go.
  20. I thought these stories were usually reported in the The Sunday Sport.
  21. Did i miss it by 5 minutes, Tweet no longer there or is my browser playing up?
  22. Do Covid regulations still require you to enter the area with sanitizer and a 9mm Parabellum?
  23. Stooopid questions 101. If there is a path traversing property that has been around for many years, when does it become a public access pathway? I know there was some thread about this on farm heading out towards the Cradle by MTB riders, but i cant find it now.
  24. Not having posted on this topic, i am nonetheless extremely curious about the implications of posting something on the web that is already in black and white somewhere, an example is this letter posted on the gate. I am not contributing to your perceived toxic environment, but i do not have time to study a document possibly thousands of pages long with addenda and external links. Please may I request a direct to the approximate location of the legislation you refer to. Thanks Derek
  25. Well only speaking for myself, but trial period dead and buried a longtime ago. Paying a 3rd party to update your seeding seems a bit off to me. Not convinced i should indirectly pay for them to integrate with Strava and have access to riders data.
