I eventually fond the update button on teh Rouvy AR app as i was annoyed they were not providing the tech support. It was always on the old Rouvy and i wanted to have my HR stuff recorded, although it makes no real difference to any of the Rouvy data they store. Hope you have what you need.

Silly question, does it do the same whichever way the bike id facing? Some top tubes are slightly off angle so it can raise the wheel quite a bit. Alternatively, take the wheel off for transport. Not a biggie on the front usually.

The drafting races are on the weekend. Signed up for the Sunday morning 09:00 one to give it a try. Fairly flat and short rides so should not take more that 25 to 30 mins.

Gonna look for an AR one with a few bells and whistles. Still want to see if the draughting thing works. Have not been able to tell on teh simple routes. Need to read what they said about it. PS, i looked for the fish eye on the video of "Gordans Bay sic" and did not notice anything. I think that is just some stoopid idea from some of the guys shooting videos from their SUVs, which is also wrong in so many ways.

Rouvy are improving some of their interfaces, but i agree they need to have a reasonably customizeable box somewhere on the screen. You are riding blind apart from your HR. I am sure they will develop something if they receive enough requests. I hope. But being indoors, the speed is not a representable value as you can never be 100% sure of the route, road surface quality, cornering at speeds etc, so you may need to dial back your expectations there. The fish eye effect is on a lot of videos, but not all. I have a PC secondary screen which does not affect me too much. I have seen some of the TACX videos and they are nice but expensive and limited. Yes there are two apps, not an issue for me. They are developing and it will take time on a small scale IT setup i guess they have. They do not have the money of Zwift based on how long it takes them to design. The AR one needs a lot of UI work, but the workouts one has a lot of other interval workouts etc, most without video. Video quality is a hit and miss from them, i keep the quality low to be in line with my expectations....... Sorry you did not enjoy it, but i think they will impove some options. As a subscriber, send a list of improvements for them o consider. I will send a list as well generally in line with your comments.

Go early if you want to have a reasonably free flowing ride, as in before 07:00. Lots of newbies on the trail stopping in the middle of the path etc.

Post it. That is why i leave home at 05:00 and cycle to the cradle and back. Missing 80% of the tjops riding and driving like idiots. No idea how to correct or challenge it.
