  3. And that's the bit that really matters. Edit - for a short term cheap and cheerful answer for the hydration pack you can get something for around R200 from Mr Price Sport. Not the best but they do a job.
  4. As above - have a scratch through the classifieds here, normally a few bargains to be had.

  12. Can a guy with genetically weak legs use a motorbike then? You can't penalise him for weak legs...
  13. I tend to agree that it does take away from the best man wins/best genes win ethos but then I watch my youngster suffer with an asthma attack stopping a normally athletic kid in his tracks and change my mind. It's complicated.

  16. is it possible to pump your tyre with a pump on tubeless? I've come to understand that you need a big whack of air in there initially to form a seal - this true? Yes and no. Some may require a bit of a blast to get them seated the first time but after that they are fine but I have managed to get the last two I did to seat using just my floor pump. Also, I've read that bombs are not the way to go since CO2 and stans don't get along very well. Not aware of that issue but since going tubeless I have never punctured badly enough to need a bomb.
  17. Have a look in the Table Mountain bikers section of the forum. Got a hunch that this may well end in frustration for you when you run into the immovable object known as Sanparks.
  18. Makes sense and I would have thought it makes it a whole lot easier to track.
  19. That gap honestly looks like it is just waiting for a jumper to collect a hiker/rider/jogger/baboon on the way through.Should make for an interesting thread.
  20. I'm with you on this one. With the amount of bikes being nicked in and around Capetown there is nothing wrong with a heads up about anything that looks dodgy or out of place.
  21. Yep and discussed it on the phone with Dan.
  22. It's purely an email link and has so far worked well.
