  1. In your wildest dreams, that level of bumbling is only achieved through years of dedicated practice. You have no chance of reaching that level.
  2. A quick update here. As above you can access and leave via Ou Wa Pad but please for now avoid The Donkey Trail and The Switchbacks. Donkey needs some repair work to make it safe after the recent rains and The Switchbacks exit is blocked by a couple of large trees that have fallen and are dangerous to try and bypass.
  3. An update on this - The sales office has now been closed with immediate effect for 14 days. No reason has been provided but I think we can all take a pretty good guess as to why.
  4. Officially Tokai is still closed. Activity cards will be extended and the sales office in Tokai is open again. This is a copy and paste from the manager responsible for activity card sales in the park - 'The wild card office is open again if people need to renew their permits We are also extending permits by three months if the card was valid or expired during lockdown. If card expired before lockdown regrettably no extension Extensions need to be processed onto the card which requires the person to come and have the card updated No cost and no photo required for the extension'
  5. Haven't seen mention of it here but Get Shorty is an excellent series. Really well written and acted and cracks on at a decent pace. Well worth a watch.
  6. You and Liverpool fans inhabit the same universe. Sometime in January there was a joking comment on a fan podcast along the lines of "the only thing that can stop us now is a global catastrophe'. I still haven't forgiven the guy for that comment...
  7. Only at Level 2 as far as I can tell. Not happy.
  8. The first one was epic, a brilliant game.
  9. Basic cookery principle right there. Batter/breadcrumbs etc might taste nice but the primary reason they are there is to protect the food from too much direct heat.
  10. Do you always align yourself with the lowest common denominator?
  11. Go further back to MW2, I still feel the MP on there is better than the newer versions. You can maybe try MW Warzone, it's a little different to previous stuff but fun.
  12. It's so the cops and security forces aren't forced to have to think.
  13. That and the fact that it would be beyond unfair to Leicester to name just one club. You can pretty much guarantee that clubs that have a good coefficient but are missing out this season will be gagging to get the season voided.
  14. Nope. From some angles it looked like it 'might' be from others it looked like it wasn't. Not clear at all.
  15. Unfortunately not. Taken from the activity card section on SANParks websight - Level 1 – Dog-walking (R305)Level 1 - Multi User Level 1 card additional member (R115.00)Level 2 – Hang-gliding and paragliding, sport climbing (R455)Level 3 – Horse-riding, cycling, line fishing and transport (R625)Level 3 - Additional member (R270.00)
  16. To be fair he could have picked it up and run with it and I would still claim it wasn't handball
  17. It hit the top of his shoulder and chest, according to the rules that is not handball.
  18. For some reason the premier league decided they did not want to enact that part of VAR. Not sure if they issued a rule or merely a guideline to that effect but either way it seems short sighted.
  19. Much as I am on the side of the idiots involved here being held to account there are others that do the best they can. Four times that I know of since Christmas eve rangers have assisted with or completed the evacuation of injured riders from Tokai. #notallrangersaretwats
  20. I personally asked them to remove that type of line in a meeting last year. My reasoning was that it gives a completely false impression of the funding as we see it. Looking at that it has been amended but still leaves lots of room for misunderstanding. I dug out the minutes of the meeting dated 26 March 2019 Here's the relevant bit - Matters Arising MS: The wording on the FAQ page for activity cards on the SANParks website is leading visitors to believe that TokaiMTB and the trails are funded via money garnered from activity card sales, specifically mentioned on the site are track maintenance and closing of illegal trails. TokaiMTB requests that any confusing or unclear wording be removed or changed as this is having an adverse effect on our ability to raise outside funding.
  21. A twisting force makes all the difference. I produced the same result as that with an armlock in a competition when I put pressure on just as my opponent tried to twist the opposite way, went from having no more than firm control to a snapped arm in a split second. A horrible moment.
  22. User Group: "Right time to boycott your activity card fees" SANParks: *Shrugs shoulders and has a long look at the money pouring in at Boulders and Cape Point*
  23. This in a nutshell. As mentioned the Wildcard does not allow you to cycle, for that you need a level 3 activity permit. A day pass is okay if you are on a one off visit but the annual permit makes a lot more financial sense if you are around all year round.
  24. The problem with that is you have to pass through a pay point to get to that road on a road bike. Not condoning what happened here but it's a hard sell if the "I didn't know" defence is going to be used.
